It's been three days. Those short precious moments have been replaying in my mind. I spoke to my closest friends about it but not in great detail, I was careful to divulge too much. One of my closest friends, Charlotte, questioned why I was being so reserved but I evaded the inquisition. I posted my photos with the boys on social media but told no one about the message from Gary. Why have I left it so late to get back to him? Why was I being so resistant? Why am I playing games with THE Gary Barlow? I didn't know the answers but I did know that I was scared. There's a saying "never meet your idol", I was anxious to discover more about him. He was a man of perfection in my eyes, I wanted to unwrap the gift with the perfectly tied red bow and reveal what was inside. I hoped he'd be exactly how I imagined him to be, exactly how I wanted. But what if he wasn't?

Charlotte wanted more gossip from me so she planned for us to meet up with Sofia, Zoe and Victoria at Heaven. They were unable to attend the signing due to family and work commitments. In hindsight, I was glad they didn't. I would be too embarrassed for them to have witnessed what happened between Gary and I. When I met the girls on a warm Friday evening, they greeted me with hugs. After ordering our first round of cocktails, they quizzed me about the signing, "Tell us then, how were the boys?" Charlotte said excitedly. "The boys were amazing." I said. "Just amazing?" Zoe looked at me suspiciously. "Yeah, is that all you have to say about the greatest day of your life? (See, what I did there)!" Victoria winked at me. "Well, they were amazing! Howard was better looking in person; his eyes were lush. Mark, he's such a sweetheart! You could just fit him in your pocket." "Aww, I love Markie so much, you're so lucky." squealed Charlotte. "And what about Gary?" Sophia asked. "Yeah, Tash, what about Gary, your future husband!?" Zoe said, egging me on. I started to blush as bright as my Woo Woo cocktail. "Tasha! You never blush!" Victoria said. "No, she only blushes when she's got something to hide. Usually she blushes when she's got off with a guy and I question her about it. There's something more to this story, tell us now!" Charlotte exclaimed. "You girls are obsessed. Why would anything have happened? Gary was perfect; his smile, his eyes, his hair, his jawline... I even got a peek at his rather pert bum." I said. "Of course you would, you pervert!" Charlotte sniggered. "You're just jealous, Charlotte that you weren't in the presence of those sexy boys!" I sniped back. "And what about the photo? You both looked very close!" Sophia questioned, Victoria piped up "Yeah, wasn't he grabbing your waist!?" I blushed again, my mind flashed back to his hand on my hip and I could feel my body tremble. I composed myself and played it down "He did, it was like I was so sensitive to his touch. Only problem is, he was like that with everyone." I smiled modestly at the girls and changed the subject. "So tell me girls, what's new with you?"
