5 Bright place without sun

I found this place where I never knew that I was.
It's strange and delicate
And I really like the taste.

There are fears and wonders
Flowers and horrors
Realities and insanities galore
...and I love it.

The weather here is normally cloudy
And there are many thoughts of sun
Though it rains here often

I found some people here
But they don't all look real.
Some stay the same and others change colors.

I think the color changers have some control over the weather.
And I have theory that the ones who stay the same are the fake ones.

I can't tell what color I am here.
I like to think I'm something bright.
But I can't be sure.

Everyone here wants me to leave.
They ask me where I came from.
They try to kill me.
"Malignant!"
"Infectious!"
As if I were the worst thing that could have happened.

I want to help hold this place together if I can.
I want to build a home here.
I think I'll stay for a while.
Maybe I can make these strangers my friends.
I would much like to star in their dreams.

I'll run from death if I have to
But I won't leave this place.
Not until I've been caught and killed.
That would be fine.

.... but I don't want to go.
I don't want to be where I was before.
