Attacked!

"So, what's on the agenda for tonight?" Max called over his shoulder as I was making my way up the stairs.

"Partying." I called back just before I made my way into my room. I mean it is after all Friday night and the jocks were always throwing huge parties at their houses right after a game. I don't really go to any of them but tonight is different my best friend, Josh who happens to be the school's quarterback, decided to have one tonight and I agreed to go. I mean he is my best friend after all.

The party didn't start till about eight tonight so I still had about two hours to get ready. I'm not one of those girls who will go all out and get dressed up for no particular reason but I wasn't in the most pleasant mood, I chose to be stuck in my room getting all glossed up rather than being downstairs with boring-some poop-head. Wow, I really am immature.

I decided to take a long shower that must've took about an hour. Afterwards feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, I wrap a towel around me and began blow-drying my shoulder length blond hair. My dad always loved my long, shiny blond hair growing up but when I became rebellious I cut it off and dyed the front, left side of my hair a baby blue color; my favorite color that matched my eyes. After blow-drying it I went straight to my closet to find out an outfit to wear.

I pull out a baby blue strapless dress that matched my hair and eyes perfectly. Setting it neatly on the edge of my bed, I scrambled at the bottom of my closet for some shoes. I have so many shoes it's really hard to pick which ones. Finally, I came across some silver peep-toe pumps that would work nicely. I still had thirty minutes so, I might as well start on my make up. I didn't go with anything drastic but a more natural look with some brown eye liner but not too much. I still had about an twenty minutes to kill, might as well get dressed and go downstairs. It usually takes me ten minutes to argue with Max about what I'm wearing. I really hate it when he tries to use a fatherly authority on me, even though it never works.

Should I go downstairs and listen to him rant or just climb out the window? I mean if I go downstairs to show him the way I'm dressed I could try and get a reaction out of him, one that's not fatherly. On the other hand he's seen me dress this way before but all I had gotten out of him was a scowl.

Window it is then!

I'm a pro when it comes to sneaking out. I've climbed out of this window so many times that I even prop a latter on this side of the house and no one even notices! Few minutes later I was climbed down the window, walking towards my car and cranking it up. THAT'S when Max storms out of the house seeing me speed off down the road.

About thirty minutes later I was at the party walking inside seeing that people must've showed up an hour early because everyone was already dancing in the living room listening to "Slow Motion" by Ke$ha. Others were on the couches either drinking or making out...it's really hard to tell with so many people I could barely get myself through the damn door!

"Claire! You made it!" Josh yelled walking up to me with a beer in his hand. I look over at Josh smiling brightly until he stopped in his tracks to scan my body up and down. "Wow Claire you look-" the last part was too low for me to hear because of the music.

"What was that?" I yelled over the music.

"Nothing. Wanna beer?" That was the one drink I really didn't like; beer, nasty stuff!

"No, thanks! I'll pass, besides I'm my own d.d." Hey, I may be immature and rebellious but I am not stupid enough to drive intoxicated! "Can we go somewhere else in the house that's not so loud?" Noting the music that was blaring against my ear drums.

"Yeah! We're playing beer pong right outside!" Grabbing my hand in his he leads me through the huddled crowd to his back porch where people were indeed watching four people playing beer pong.
