Recap:

"Mr. Josie we-"

But before I could finish my sentence Kevin's lips met mine and I was too shocked by the contact. I didn't push him off nor did I wrap my arms around him and kiss him back, I just stood there with my eyes open unable to move. As soon as his lips had came into contact with mine I could hear Echo gasp and Josh cracking his knuckles.

I finally came to and pushed at Kevin's chest and broke the kiss. "Mr. Josie why did you-

"I love you Claire. I'm sorry it took me so long to tell you but-" he stopped mid-sentence when his eyes fell on Echo and Josh, whose mouths were wide open and both were unable to speak.

But thunderous banging at the door caught our attention and my body went stiff once again but this time from fear...

Shut Up! Get Up! 

"They know we're in here! What are we going to do! We're going to die!" Echo shrieked while hugging herself and rocking back in forth. I snapped out of my fearful state and gave her cheek a great big slap.

"Get a hold of yourself Echo." I whispered under my breath as Echo held her cheek, spacing out. I was still in a bit of a daze after Kevin's kiss. Was he only kissing me because he felt as though it'll be his last kiss-ever? Well, it's really nice to know that he is willing to kiss a student than his own girlfriend. Wait, does he even have a girlfriend? He did just confess his love for me but it seems only out of impulse.

Really Claire?! At a time like this your going to question yourself about why your own teacher kissed you when there are flesh eating zombies just outside the door trying to break into the room?

I look over at Josh who was just looking at Kevin with such hatred in his eyes. Something tells me Echo is the only one in his room that has her head in the right place here...the fact there are flesh eaters just outside!

I nudge Josh hard into his ribs. "Ow! What was that for?" He whined while rubbing his ribcage.

"You know what that was for butt-head." I exclaimed. Did I really just call Josh a butt-head? That was totally mature of me...

"Can it! We need to come up with a plan." Kevin barked at us capturing all of our attentions. My eyes wandered around the room spotting two other students who hunkered in the corner together. The Riley Twins; Tia and Tara, an identical pair of bimbos hiding under a desk, my eyes wandered once more and spotted Lucas, the school's dumbest jock hiding in a corner by the trash bin and just a few feet away from him is Layla, one of Morgan's little minions...so does that mean Morgan and the rest of her minions as well as the entire school all zombies?

'You figured all that up by yourself Sherlock?' I really need to stop talking to myself mentally, it's starting to creep me out...

So, great we are a group of a useless bunch of-

"We can go hide in my office, there is a fridge full of food and water and I have a couple of sleeping bags but people are going to have to pair up. Why the heck does he have sleeping bags? I look over at Kevin giving him this weird look. "I am the teacher for the Outdoor Survival Club." Oh, that would explain the sleeping bags then. Why hadn't I joined that club? Maybe I could have a better chance at surviving a night with a school filled with zombies. They should make a club for that now. Zombie Survival Club. But seeing as almost the entire school is a zombie there isn't much of a club, nor much of a school as a matter of fact.

I look over and Tia and Tara grab a sleeping bag and curl themselves in it once we made it to the office room and Kevin locking the door behind him. Layla and Lucas both curled up in the sleeping bag together as well leaving Echo, Josh, Kevin and I.
