It wasn't supposed to be a big risk, but now it is and Calum can't stop.... Because he is dying for the reward.
Or
The one where Calum does something so stupid no one can believe it.

Liked by crystalleigh and others Fancypantsshi: been fairly quiet online for the summer but very busy. Big things are coming over at @wtdesign and we can't wait to share them with you! But for now, a weekend away from home to start a special project 💞

Calum is somewhat relieved by the content of the comments on Shi's post, though not all necessarily nice, she isn't being attacked. He'd been a bit worried when he woke up to the notification, the Twitter fiasco that was their relationship outing is still too fresh on the brain for his comfort. He's also surprised that none of the comments jump out at him as clearly being from her stalker, maybe she managed to block him though.
Pushing up against the headboard he glances around the room. He'd opted to stay at his Sydney house rather than with his mum or dad for the week he's home, knowing it would be easier to talk to Shi uninterrupted this way. With that in mind he swipes out of Instagram, finding her contact and hitting FaceTime, hoping she can talk.
"Hey!" He's greeted by a bright smile, the same white tee she'd had on in the photo adorning her.
"Hi, baby. What are you doing right now?" Calum chuckles at her excitement.
"Driving my crappy old college car to LA."
"Where's the Bronco?"
"On time out..." she sighs, her dimenor dropping significantly, almost into a pout.
"Why?"
"Cam found me at the grocery store yesterday, with Jess. So she and Paul finally got the whole stalker story and they feel, and are definitely correct, that the green Bronco with the fancy pants license plate is probably a bit too recognizable for me to be driving right now. So it's parked in their garage and I get this old thing. It's really not a bad car, but I miss my nice car."
"I can sympathize with that, but if I knew there was a nondiscript car you could be driving, I would have suggested it already. I do really like your Bronco though, but I like you safe more."
"Safety is important, I guess." She groans, somewhat exasperated.
"It is, Shi. Your safety in particular. Now, why are you headed for LA? Instagram said it was an exciting new project."
"Okay, I got an email yesterday and decided to respond to it. I probably should have checked with you first, but it sounds like such a fun little project and good publicity for my company."
