Were back in the tour bus from that... interesting show. What do I think about it? I'm proud of Patrick for still caring for Gracie whether she's his or not. Its pretty odd for me, since I'm dating him, but I'm going to support him no matter what he does. Allie on the other hand... well, to put it lightly, I don't like her.
Gracie is such an adorable ball of sarcasm though. Kind of like a mini Cheryl. Its pretty cool, but having two little sassy bitches in a cramped space can be pretty taxing.
The guys left to go help clean up the place the show was held at, to get the stuff they left and everything. So, Cheryl and I are left to get to know Gracie a little.
"So, when's your birthday?" I ask curiously.
"April 27th," she says shyly.
"Holy sh- I mean, crap, really? That's Patrick's birthday!" I exclaim excitedly, almost cussing in front of her. She smiles at me and nods.
"I know."
We all sit and talk for a while, and Gracie seems to relax more and more, which is good, since she'll be living with us for a couple days. It turns out Gracie is actually quite similar to Patrick, and that can either be coincidental or maybe she really is Patrick's daughter. Very mature, too. Just by hearing her talk, you wouldn't guess she was about six years old. She's more like Patrick than Allie, which is weird, but maybe Gracie was just smart enough to realize she could think for herself and didn't let her mom fill her head with lies.
Soon Cheryl stands up and stretches. "I think I'm gonna go paint something for a while. Wanna paint, Gracie?"
"No, I'm kinda hungry, actually, um..."
"Don't be shy, Gracie. If you ever want anything, tell us. Do you like chicken nuggets?" I ask, standing up too.
She jumps up, smiling. "Are you kidding? I love chicken nuggets!"
I look at Cheryl, who's smirking. "Yup, she's a keeper," I say, heading to the kitchen area.
After I heat up her nuggets and give them to her, Cheryl goes back to the bunk area and grabs all her paint and starts making magic. After a couple minutes of relaxing silence, I hear an off key sound coming from her direction.
Gracie looks at me, cringing at the sound. I laugh a little, trying to listen.
"This is gospel, for the fallen ones, locked away in a permanent slumber..."
"Is she singing Panic! At The Disco?" Gracie asks.
I laugh, "Yeah, its This Is Gospel."
"I love that song!"
I smirk. "You won't after this."
"If you love me, let me GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Gracie's hands immediately fly to her ears, nearly falling off the chair she was sitting on, and I burst out laughing. Cheryl must have heard me laughing, because I hear her stomp out to where we're sitting.
"What's so funny?" she grumbles.
After I recover myself, I walk over to Gracie, helping her up. "After your... um... wonderful singing, the sound just... amazed Gracie so much that she fell off her chair in... astonishment."
"I get it, it was terrible," Cheryl says, crossing her arms.
"Horrid." Gracie states, smirking.
