Aww, she laughed at my pathetic flirt attempt and- OH MY GOD WAIT WHAT IS HAPPENING SHE'S LEANING IN OH MY GOD HER MOUTH IS ON MINE WHAT IS THIS IS SHE KISSING ME OR IS SHE SUCKING THE SOUL OUT OF MY BODY AM I DREAMING IS THIS REAL LIFE WHAT IF MY BREATH SMELLS BAD OH NO I SHOULD HAVE NEVER EATEN THAT ONION EARLIER-

"Pete? Are you okay?" Cheryl is looking at me with a concerned expression on her face. She almost looks sad as if she's afraid I'll reject her.

"Uh, yeah, I'm, uh, um, you, uh..." Suddenly I can't hold it in and I can't stop the girlish scream that escapes my mouth.

"Jesus Christ, Pete! What is up with you?" Cheryl asks, covering her ears. I can't stop smiling, and I'm pretty sure I look like a crazy lunatic to her right now, but I'm just so happy. To answer her I grab her face in my hands and kiss her again. I'm smiling into it and so is she. This is definitely the best moment of my life.

"Guys, are you okay? I heard one of you scream- OH MY GOD YOU'RE SUCKING FACES!"

I jump back from Cheryl so fast that I hit my head on the wall. She just giggles at me (which I've never ever heard before in my life) and I rub my head and scowl at Hailey, who just walked in and is now bouncing off the walls.

"OMG ITS HAPPENED ITS HAPPENED YOU KISSED WHEN'S THE WEDDING MAN I NEED TO BE YOUR MAID OF HONOR, CHERYL I HAVE TO!"

Hailey literally leaps from the end of the room, landing square on Cheryl's stomach and knocking her backward.

"Jesus, Hailey, calm down-"

"Cheryl, I CANNOT SIMPLY CALM DOWN you KISSED him, man, you KISSED HIM! THIS IS GREAT LIKE OH MY GOD-"

Cheryl shuts her up by slapping her hand over Hailey's mouth. She's still twitching uncontrollably like a true fangirl, so Cheryl crawls over her and holds her down. After she stops squirming and her pupils become regular size again, we decide its safe to let her loose.

Hailey sits back up, glancing at both of us. Then she opens her mouth, and Cheryl glares at her.

"Don't even fucking think about screaming," she threatens.

I sit there, tense, for five long seconds before I hear the loudest ear-splitting scream I've ever heard before. I childishly slap my hands against my ears, as does Cheryl.

"Can't you shut the girl up?" I suddenly hear Joe ask. He struts in the room and sits next to Hailey, ruffling her hair. It doesn't even phase her like it usually would; she's too busy slamming into Joe and sending him flying into the wall.

"JOSEPH DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT HAPPENED?"

He shakes his head "no" with a scared expression on his face as I look at Cheryl nervously.

"No going back now," she mutters. Great.

As Hailey is excitedly giving Joe the glorious details, I hear Patrick and Andy come in, overhearing what Hailey was saying. They all run over to me and yell things along the lines of "great job, man" and "fuck yeah" and "use protection!". I just bury my head in my hands and mutter "no" over and over again, hoping it will all be over soon.

*Patrick's POV*

Currently all of us are camped out in the living area watching The Lion King. Well, everyone but Gracie. She's still at a friend's house. I have come to realize Hailey absolutely loves this movie, occasionally muttering things about it. The part where Mufasa died was the worst, (for her, not necessarily for me) because she buried her face into my chest and wrapped her arms around me, which I didn't particularly mind.

I glance across the room, seeing Cheryl laying in Pete's lap, almost falling asleep as Pete absentmindedly plays with her hair. Its surprising to see Cheryl just letting him do that. I didn't think she was into the whole affection thing. Maybe I was wrong.

I'm really happy for them, though. All of us could see the chemistry between the two of them but them. I'm glad they finally realized it though. I've never been into the shipping thing but I'm down for shipping those two.

My eyes drift over to Joe and Andy on the other couch, and my eyebrows raise. Both of them are asleep, their heads leaning against each other's. Okay, maybe I ship Trohley, too.

I look down to tell Hailey about it, but she also fell asleep hugging me. I lean down and kiss the top of her head, feeling myself drift off too. I welcome sleep with open arms, floating down the boulevard of broken dreams.
