Remirda Town. The sign stood up like it was brave and formidable. But really, it was only formidable. Nobody liked to believe that this town existed, nobody wanted to believe it existed. And this was mainly due out of fear. Remirda Town was a town that liked to isolate itself, it was mysterious and hidden. But yet, it was still interconnected to society.

Up in the dark inky sky, a mere speck could be seen. The speck grew bigger and bigger until its identity became a failing rocket ship. The rocket ship spiraled and twirled itself into upcoming destruction. It sunk deeper and deeper until it reached the dark plains of Remirda Town and crashed.
It's nose crunched on the dark rocky ground that lay near the sign, marking the end of the rocket ship's condition.

Two grown travelers named Jackson and Morson had been striding along the long lonely road that led to Remirda.
Only one of them actually noticed the sound.

"Did you hear that?" Jackson yipped.

Morson had been sweating and his eyes were lazy enough to give up on him. He needed rest.
"Here what Jackson? You know we have a negotiation meeting with the mayor. We can't can't afford to be late."

Jackson sworn he had heard something. But maybe he was imagining things.
Jackson shook his head like a wet dog and said "You're right, let's get going."

They continued their long droopy walk along the spaghetti road that led on to the Remirda Town sign. When they approached the sign, the two of them sighed in easement.
"We shouldn't be relieved yet," Morson said. "I've heard some wierd shit about this town."

"What do you mean?" Jackson asked.

"I'm talking about mysterious murders Jackson. About how not much people look after this town. It's unprotected and dangerous."

"Right." Jackson agreed as he strung back his blonde sweaty hair to rest.

"But we still have to meet the mayor anyway. Balzir needs us to," Morson added.

The two of them were about to continue their painful stroll until Jackson saw something discomforting.
It was a couple distances beside the Remirda Town sign. A broken rocket ship. Jackson could tell what it was, due to its crumpled red fins.

"Are you coming?" Morson asked.

But Jackson was already stepping towards the broken rocket ship. His hands motioned for Morson to follow along.

"What are you doing?" Morson said as he dragged himself to Jackson's direction.

The rocket ship was lying on its side with its rimmed door wide open. No one was inside, just complete blackness.

"Who do you think would've been in there?" Jackson asked.

"I don't know but-" Morson's voice was stopped. He couldn't breathe. He tried to force his lungs back in motion, but nothing.
Morson fell down to the ground instantly.

Jackson was still focused on the rocket ship. "What were you saying Morson?"
Then he turned his head to his friend and fluttered back in shock.
"Morson! What happened?"
He knelt down near his buddy. He shook him, but no response.
Jackson tried to hold back the fear. "Don't do this to me Morson. Not now!"

Morson lay there motionless for several seconds but then jolted back up and started gagging. Green liquids fluids burst out of his mouth. The green goo was spat on Jackson's shirt
Jackson carefully touched it and examined it. The goo was green, obviously, but there was also a small sighting of red blood in the goo.

"M-Morson, are you okay?" Jackson trembled.

Morson fell back in a heap, all lifeless and pale.

"W-What happ-Bwaahh!!" Jackson began to barf out the green goo, it quickly began to spill on the ground.
Jackson shook his head and ran away from the rocket.
"No, it can't be happening to me!"
Jackson felt his heart loosen the repetitive beats. His lung withdrawed from his body, allowing more green goo to gag out of his body.
Jackson fell down on the cemented road. The sky he was squinting at began to fade away into black. And then soon enough, everything altogether.

The rocket lay there in its ridged state. The opened door that was once empty was now taken over by a green smoke. The smoke escaped the rocket's door and made its own misty trip towards the outside. And more importantly, towards the cobwebbed sign of Remirda Town.

Nicole ran up the beautiful marble steps that led to the town hall. As deputy mayor, she was expected to show up to the meeting. And she wasn't planning on letting the mayor down.

She walked passed the main room where there were many organized seats and a podium with a seal on it. She stumbled up the curvy staircase and walked by the fancy door that read "Mayor J's Office."
She clattered the round brass doorknob and swept right in.

"Mayor John am I-Aaaahh!!" Nicole screamed her face off as she saw a suited body lie on the polished wooden desk. A green puddle could be seen on the groomed carpet. The puddle was coming from the drip that was accompanied from the desk. And that green goo was coming from the limp body.

Nicole vigelently skipped toward the body. She could see that the head was faced down. Being only as curious as she was, Nicole stung the head high up.
"Eww!"
The eyes that were supposed to be inserted in eye sockets had popped off, and now they were currently rolling on the desk.

Another person busted right behind Nicole. He looked like a burglar on the run.
"What happened? I heard screaming,"

Nicole eventually turned to the old man, trying her very best to disguise the weeping.
"Mayor John is dead." Nicole quivered.
