Chapter 4- Night well spent

- Ashleys POV-

I freeze and continue staring at my phone, surprised somebody like Luke would want to text me. He seems like the type of guy that had all the girls wrapped around his finger. A real confident guy.

To: Luke

Oh, hey. How'd your parents take the cop and everything?

From: Luke

Eh, I just had a lecture about the woods. Actually, i'm headed to your house right now, Mike invited me. See you soon. xx

I gasp and jump up.

"Ashley, what is wrong?" Ashton asks me looking worried.

"Um.. Nothing, I just have to go.. to the bathroom real quick!" I say and run out of the room.

I open the door to my room and go to my closet. I go to a dresser and get a pair of pajamas. A white tank top and a pair of black shorts. I go in my bathroom and take my make up off and redo my messy bun.

I walk back in the game room, expecting to see Luke, but he wasn't in there.

I sit back down on the ceiling chair and pull my IPhone from my shorts pocket.

To: Luke

Wherefore art thou Romeo? ;)

I got a message back almost instantly.

From: Luke

Ha, just got here. Let me up?

To: Luke

Sure. x

I go down stairs and open the door. I see Luke standing there leaning on the side of the wall.

"You finally come" He says laughing

I giggle. "Sorry, I wasn't in much of a hurry." I say failing at playing hard to get.

He notices and smiles. "Wow, thanks. So, can I come in?"

"Oh! um, yeah come on in.." I say opening the door more widely.

We walk up to the game room and he sits next to Michael and Ashton while, I walk back up to the ceiling chair. I sit down and log onto Twitter.

@AshleyAnn- "Tonight is going to be amazing, I can already tell. xx" I tweet looking at Luke, wrestling Ash for the controller.

I giggle and look back down at my phone and see a picture of Megan and I, and remember I had to call her. What time is it? 10 PM so that means it's 6 AM there.

She is probably awake for school. I dial her number and press call.

"Hello?" She finally answers

I walk out of the game room. "Megan? Hey! I'm sorry I didn't call you earlier."

"It's fine. How is it over there?"

"It's so cool. I actually love it." I look at Luke through the door.

"That's great! So what did you do for your first time in Australia?"

"Um.. I, sorta had to be driven home by the police"

"OH MY GOSH ASHLEY!! You are such a bad ass." she says mockingly.

"Shut the hell up" I say and laugh.

"Okay, I have to go, my bus is almost here."

"Okay, love you!" I hang the phone up and enter the room again, but the boys aren't in there. I hear them in the kitchen going through the cup boards, but I just decided to go sleep.
