Chapter 14- First time fail

(Ashleys POV)

It's been two weeks since dad passed. The funeral was tramatizing. I never want to go through this pain ever again. This was defiantly the hardest thing i've ever had to go through.

Luke was there for me. I knew he would be. He's helped me alot and so have the other boys. They always sing to me and keep my mind off the inevitable. Mike has helped me alot too. He knows me more than anyone so, he knows what will make me happy. He's such a great guy.

Luke lives with us now, he had alot of troubles with his mum so he's just going to stay with us for a while. Mum made me promise that I wouldn't do anything with him. Even though, I told her I wasn't ready. She's been pretty upset lately after my dad died. I mean I don't blame her, she had her first and only child with him and then all of a sudden he dissapears.

(Michaels POV)

I walk into the lounge to play some fifa and see Ashley curled up into a ball. I feel bad for her, she loved her dad. She told me so many stories of when her parents were together and he was actually in her life. He hasn't been there for her since she was eight. Around that time he was just starting the marines. She was devestated when he left but a couple of years later he got back in contact with him and they've talked ever since.

"Oh hey Mike" Ashley says sitting up and wipes the tears from her eyes. "Hey Ash. Do you need some company?" She smiles at me and pats a spot on the couch for me. I hug her as soon as I see her start to cry again.

"Don't cry. Everything will be okay!" She hugs me back getting tears on my grey t shirt. "Its okay. I'm here for you and always will be" I rub her head trying but not quite succeding to confort her. When she finally settles down she sits back up and blows her nose. "Sorry I got tears on your shirt" She says giggling a bit. "It's fine. I think it looks better if anything" I say failing at being funny. She notices and laughs along.

It's been forever since I heard her laugh it was actually refreshing. "Wheres Luke?" I ask as I haven't seen him all day. She rolled her eyes and shrugged. "You two in a fight?" They've been fighting since he moved in. "I don't know. I asked him to stay with me because, I was feeling upset but, he wanted to go with Ash somewhere." She said obviously pissed.

"That's fucked up." I say. It isn't like Luke to just leave her. He would stay with her if he knew she was upset. "I'll be right back okay?" I say patting her head playfully. I get my phone out and Lukes number. "Hey Luke, where are you?" I ask when he finally answers.

"I'm with Ash at Mcdonalds. Why what's up?" He asks. I can hear him stuffing his face and Ashton laughing in the background. "What's up? You left Ashley by herself, she was crying. That's what's up" I snap at him. I hear Ash 'Oooo' in the background. "She told me she was okay with it." He says oblivious. "Dude, girls just say those things! It's never okay!" I say sort of laughing actually even though i'm pissed. "Is she mad?" I heard the worry in his voice. "Well she's upset that you left her" I say looking at Ashley who has crossed arms. "What should I do?" He asks me. "Dude why do I have to solve all of your problems?" I hear him huff and continue. "Okay man well, your in some deep shit because girls get alittle crazy so just tell her the truth!" That seems like the best possible thing for him to do right now.

"Alright man i'm coming home right now" He says and hangs up. I sit back down by Ashley. She sighs and gets up. "I'm going to take a nap. I didn't have a good nights sleep." She says and hugs me. "Thanks for being there for me. You're a great cousin."

(Ashleys POV)

I feel bad for lying to Mike. I was going in my room to lay down but, I wasn't tired. I just wanted to be alone. No that's also a lie. I had my laptop. Anyways, I was on twitter. The boy's fans are so nice. They sent me so many tweets about how they were praying for me and my family. Even a few said they could relate because one of their parents passed on too. I smile at all the good tweets trying to answer as many as I could. Instead of tweeting everyone I just sent a tweet saying thank you for all of their sweet messages and tweets. I scroll through my mentions and spot a tweet that caught my eye.

@AshleyAnn how's luke in bed?

I freeze and laugh. I thought about it though. Is it weird that we've been dating for two weeks and slept in the same bed or trampoline and haven't had sex once? I tweet her back.

I didn't want the fans to suspect a thing. I get a new mention from Calum.

I laugh hard at the comments that are coming up when I hear my door open. I turn to see who was there. "Hey baby. Are you feeling okay?" He asks handing me a bag from Mcdonalds and kissing my head. "I'm fine." I say coldly but accepting the food because I do love my chicken nuggets. Well shit, good mood ruined.

"Ashley don't be mad. You said I could go" He says whining. I bite into one of my french fries. "Okay you're forgiven for a little bit but only because I have to tell you something" I say scooting over so he can sit by me.

"Okay read this tweet" I say pointing my finger to the tweet asking how Luke was in bed. He laughs and blushes. "Wow. I um.. I don't know what to say" He says and rubs his forehead. I laugh at his adorable awkwardness. "Well why haven't we even discussed sex?" I ask him closing my laptop. "You said you weren't ready." He says holding my hand. "I was ready when I first realized I was in love with you. I wanted my baby to be happy before I even tried" He says kissing my head.

"Well I think i'm ready." I say kissing his lips. He smiles through the kiss and removes his jacket deeping the kiss. I run my fingers through his hair and throw my leg around his.

When we were finally about to get into it Ashton bargs in "Hey guys Dana says that to come e-" He stops and sees us on the bed. "Um Dana said to come eat" He laughs and walks out.

Luke trys to kiss me again but I stop him. "Moment ruined" I say and get up to go eat.
