NPOV:

Will doesn't understand.

I mean, I know Percy hasn't been great. He often lost his temper and hit me. He ignored me when it suited me then apologised like it was nothing. But I depended on him. I needed him.

I never knew my father. My mother died when I was young. Other than my faint memories, a few old photographs and Bianca's stories, I don't know anything about her.

When mother died, I was two years old. Bianca was four. We were looked after by our aunt, but when Bianca was nine she left us to fend for ourselves.

Bianca raised me. We lived in our mother's old home. Nobody knew it was just us. Then Bianca died, when I was only ten. I was lost without her.

I lived by myself for three years, barely managing to scrape by. I told nobody. Everyone assumed I lived with my parents and my sister. Why would they? I hid my emotions well.

Then I met Percy. I was only thirteen, and he was seventeen, but that didn't matter. He took me in. He took care of me.

He didn't turn on me until I was fourteen, and it was my fault really. I asked him about Annabeth. She had died a year earlier, and he still wasn't over it. But I knew what it was like to lose a loved one, so I forgave him.

I soon learnt not to question Percy. I stayed quiet. I was meek and obedient. He only punished me when I misbehaved. So I didn't.
