NPOV:

I wake up to beeping sounds, and when I like around I realise in in a hospital.
"Will." I say immediately, trying to sit up. I need to see him. I need to know he's okay.

A doctor walks over and smiles.
"Oh, good. You're conscious." She says, nodding.
"Where Will? Is he okay?" I ask worriedly. She blinks with confusion.
"Who?"

"Will. Will Solace. He was in the same car crash as me. He's my..." Boyfriend? Partner? I wave my arms helplessly and she nods.
"Ah yes, Mr Solace."
"Is he okay?" I ask quickly.
"He's... Stable." She answers slowly.

"I need to see him."
"But you're-"
"Please! I need to!"
"Mr Di Angelo, you are sev-"
"I don't care! I need to see him!" I sob. She looks at me apologetically and closes her eyes for an isn't before nodding.
"Okay."

~~~
I'm led down a hall and somebody pulls over a chair.
I sit beside Will and quickly asses the damage. His right arm is in a cast, broken. He's still unconscious, but maybe he woke up earlier, or he's on sleeping pills. He has a bang aw on his leg and another across his bare chest.
"We need to stop going to hospitals." I sigh, trying to lighten the mood. It doesn't work. I suddenly break down in tears, but nobody comes to console me, which I'm grateful for. I fit need pity at the moment. I need Will:
I finally run out of tears, so I dry my eyes and take a few breaths. I call a nurse over.
"How much longer will he be unconscious for?" I ask. The nurse looks at me worriedly, not meeting my eyes.
"Um..."
"What's wrong?" I ask nervously.
"Uh... He's in a coma." He shays quickly.
It takes a moment for me to register the words, and another to fully process them.
"Y-you mean he might never wake up?" I ask quietly. She nods and looks at her feet.
"He might..." She sounds doubtful. "Theres a twenty percent chance..."
I don't even cry. I just sit, staring at him, numb. He might never wake up...
"Is... Is he conscious? Like, does he know what's going on around him?" I ask.
"We're not sure. Some people are, others are brain-dead. We can't tell yet." She tells me gently.
I look at Will, taking his hand. The nurse walks off as I start to speak.
"Will... I don't know if you can hear me. Either way, I'll talk to you every day, okay?"
I should probably reassure him. "I-I'm fine. Just a cut on my head. In case you weren't sure... You're in a coma. Your right arm is broken, and some of your ribs. We were in a car crash, in case you don't remember."
Oh no... What if he doesn't remember me? "I'm Nico. You remember me, right?" I say frantically. "I-I love you. Remember that." I hold his hand tighter and kiss his cheek. "Remember that I love you."
