Quick author's note:
I want to write a high school AU and continue this fic at the same time. Would anybody read it? Should I do it?

Now, on with the story:

WPOV:
I call the doctors who have tied to help Nico. There are three of them. Two of them say the same thing, congrats, well done, hope he's doing well... All of that. I pass on the message to Nico, who just rolls his eyes and nods. The third doctor says
"I told you he was being stubborn!" I ball my fists and mutter a few swear words, the hang up.

"What happened?" Nico asks.
"Nothing, it's fine." I tell him.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah. I just... Never mind. I'm okay."
"Alright." Nico nods.

"I forgot how lovely your voice sounds." I tell him. Nico turns red and I smile. "You're cute when you blush."
"I'm not cute!"
"You are. You're adorable!"
"I'm not!" Nico blushes and I grin even more.
"Aww!"
"Stop it!" Nico puts his hands in his cheeks and sighs. "I hate being called cute."
"Okay, okay. Sorry."

We spend the rest of the day talking, making up for all the times Nico couldn't. He tells me everything he's wanted to tell me, mostly 'I love you' and I ask him all the questions he couldn't answer before.

Before we go to bed, the phone rings.
"I'll get it." I tell Nico.
"Okay." He nods and leaves the room.

"Hello?" I say.
"Hello, is this Will Solace?" A man's voice asks.
"Uh... Yes." I answer.
"Are you the man living with Nico Di Angelo?"
"Yes..."
"Well, I work for the police." The man tells me. I frown, I don't think Nico has committed any crimes...

"A man in the prison requested I see Nico."
"Who?" I ask nervously, fearing I already know the answer.
"His name is Percy Jackson."

"No." I say instantly.
"Can we speak to Nico Di Angelo?"
"He's busy." I lie. Nico just got better, I'm not letting Percy near him again.
"Can you pass on the message and ask him if he wants to come? Percy says he works really appreciate it." I'm sure he would...
"Yeah, I'll tell him." I say.
"Okay, thanks."
"Bye."

I hang up and take a deep breath, then walk into he bedroom.
"What's wrong?" Nico asks.
"Nothing." I try to smile.
"Who called?"
"Jut someone trying to sell me something."
"Why did you take so long?"
"He was very persistent." I say, biting my lip.

Nico narrows his eyes.
"Don't lie to me, William."
"First of all, don't call me William, it makes you sound like my mother. Secondly, I'm not lying!" I protest, biting my lip.
"Yes you are. You bite your lip when you lie:"
"No I don't!" I bite my lip. "Damn, I do."
"Who called?" He asks again. I sigh.

"I'll tell you tomorrow." I promise him.
"Why not now?"
"It's bad news." I grimace. "I don't want to keep you up all night:"
"I'll stay up all night thinking about what it is of you don't tell me." He folds his arms.

"Fine!" I sigh. "It was a prison guard." Nico frowns, giving me a quizzical look. "It was about Percy..." Nico tenses, but motions for me to continue. "He wants to see you." I say. Nico stays silent for a moment, then takes a deep breath.

"Don't worry, I already told them no. They just want to hear it from you." I say. Nico raises an eyebrow.
"Who said I wasn't going?" He says, his voice low.
"Nico, you came seriously be considering this."
"Why not? It could be good for you."
"It won't be." I assure him.

Nico exhales and looks into my eyes.
"I'll sleep on it." He tells me. "I'll see what I think I'm the morning; and we'll go from there."
"But-" he glares at me and I nod, sighing. "Okay."
