WPOV:

My eyes snap open. It takes me a second to realise I'm moving again, but as soon as I've processed it, I try to sit up. Somebody gasps, and a doctor rushes to my side, helping me sit up an shining a light in my eyes.

Nico suddenly tackles me into a hug, crying with happiness (well, I hope it's happiness) and I hug back tightly, never wanting to let go.

"William!" I turn to look at my delighted parents but I don't smile at them. Thy rush to my side and start talking quickly, but I don't even bother to listen.

I readjust myself so Nico is sitting in my lap, then wrap my arms around him as he buries his face into the crook of my neck. He clings to my shirt tightly, as I pull him even closer.

My parents stop taking and look at my expectantly, but I say nothing.
"We haven't seen you in years, you've been in a coma, and we've just asked you kits of questions. Aren't you going to say anything?" My father huffs. I look him dead in the eye.

"I never told you I didn't like boys, so why did you assume it?"
"What?"
"You said that you thought I was over liking boys." I remind him. "Don't you know anything about me?"
"William!" My mom protests. I turn to her.
"I've told you this hundreds of times, it's Will."

She scowls.
"Let go of that stupid boy and start being more respectful!" She orders me. I look down at Nico. He's much gunner than before, and he seems paler. I lift his head and he meets my eyes, giving me a small smile.

"William! Did you hear me?"
"Yes." I nod, not looking away from Nico.
"Then why aren't you doing as I said?" My mom demands. I look at her disdainfully.
"Why should I?"
"We're your parents!"

"I don't care."
"Let go of him right now!" She orders. I raise an eyebrow and look back at Nico, then, without another word, I kiss him.
