Evelyn
Dancing pure white snowflakes decorated my bedroom roof as I lay under my covers. The temperature in the room was that created by a warm heater, yet the snowflakes kept their form and didn't thaw at all. It was so much fun experimenting with my powers and watching all the beautiful things I could do. I had even discovered how to make my room warm by changing the temperature of the water particles in the air. There were so many things you could do with water. Beneath my fog of thoughts and amazement I remembered what Noah said about using my powers unnecessarily, so I let the snowflakes fall from the roof and dissolve halfway to the floor.
My phone rang; it was Rae.
"Hey Rae, what's up?"
"I haven't seen much of you recently, are you okay?" Rae asked.
"Yes I'm fine, don't worry."
"Cool. Do you want to come for a sleepover at my place Friday night for a catch up?"
"That would be awesome. I'll be there."
"See you tomorrow."
I clicked my phone off and went to sleep.
