I had managed to fight the rogues off me. I looked around for Evelyn but I still couldn't see her. The fight wasn't going well. I could already see two people down on the ground, and several injured. I was seriously worried about Evelyn. She had only just learnt how to use her powers, and she wasn't very confident either. I wanted to tell her I was attracted to her, but I didn't know how. I was really nervous about approaching her particularly because of my contradictory actions previously, shaking her around, and at the other extreme, tenderly pushing her hair out of her eyes.
