It was 8 in the morning
The entire house was buzzing with laughter and excitement as preparations for Akshu's Nalangu and Manjal Neerattu function were in full swing. Since the auspicious time was fixed between 10 and 11 am,
On one side, the ladies were arranging with plates of turmeric, kumkum, rice, flowers, and lamps, while the other side was reserved for the family seating. Close relatives wandered everywhere-some carrying trays of sweets, some arranging chairs, and others calling out instructions.
Inside Akshu's room, meanwhile, a completely different scene was unfolding. She sat cross-legged on the floor, her Mehendi-stained hands resting on her lap, glowing a deep, rich shade of brown. Her friends Soumya and Hema, along with her cousins Akhil and Madhu, surrounded her like a teasing squad.
Soumya - akshu un kai paaru evlo dark aa iruku...( She said dramatically )
