By seven in the morning
Vishnu had already left for work. He had kissed her forehead gently before leaving, reminding her to rest, telling her he would be late since he had taken special classes to compensate for his holidays.
She had smiled.
Promised she would rest.
By the time the sun climbed higher, the house was already busy.
Everyone was dressed and ready for the function, laughter and movement filling the air-but Akshu sat quietly on the sofa, her body feeling unusually heavy. It wasn't pain exactly. Just a bone-deep exhaustion she couldn't explain.
"Anni nalla saptu rest edunga," Yuvi and Anu said together.
