Author's POV

By 9 PM, the house had transformed into a space filled with warmth and life. The dinner arranged by Vishnu wasn’t just about food — it was about togetherness. Plates clinked softly, laughter echoed through the hall, and conversations overlapped in a comforting chaos that only family could create.

Akshu sat among them, her smile constant, her heart unusually light — as if something inside her had finally found peace.

Yuvi: "Ok guys, ippo time for gifts!"

Akshu’s eyes widened instantly, surprise flickering across her face. Her gaze instinctively searched for Vishnu.
He was already looking at her.

And all he did… was smile and give a small nod.

That tiny gesture alone made her heart skip.

Anu: "Modha anni ku naan dhan gift kudupen!"

Yuvi: "Illa, naandha ye anniyaar ku first kudupen!"

Rahul: "Indha arambichitaanunga le… innaki mudinja madhiri dhaan po!"

The usual chaos began, playful and loud. Everyone sighed in mock frustration.

Soundharya stepped forward, shaking her head, though her lips curved in a suppressed smile.

Soundharya: "Ada chii… niruthunga! Yeppo paathaalum eliyum poonayum madhiri sandai potuttu."

Anu: "Maa… ivan dhaan arambichaan!"

Yuvi: "Illa iva!"

Soundharya: "Ippo rendu perum silent aagala na… naa enna pannuve nu enake theriyadhu!"

Immediately, both of them went quiet — pouting like scolded kids, their expressions only making everyone else laugh harder.

Akshu watched them with a soft smile, her eyes glowing with affection.

Akshu (smiling softly): "Athae vidunga… chinna pasanga dhaane."

Soundharya: "Udane support aa! Yella un chellam dhaan… rendu perukum vaaluthanam jaasthi aagiduchu."

Vishnu: "Maa, vidu maa…"

Ashok: "Seri seri, pecha niruthittu gifts kuduka arambinga."

One by one, they came forward.
Each gift wasn’t just an object — it carried a piece of their love.
