Fang along with Brody and Hooper were chatting with Larry about the discovery of the shark that is attacking Amity Island after they their encounter with Ben Gardner's remains last night and the tooth.
Brody: This is a great white Larry a big and any shark expert will tell you it's a killer, it's a man eater.
Fang: And this one has chosen Amity Island as it's hunting grounds.
Hooper: The situation is apparently a great white shark has staked a claim in the waters off Amity Island and he's gonna continue to feed here as long there's food in the water.
Brody: And there's no limit on what it's gonna do. I mean we've already had three incidents. Two people who were attacked but were saved thank god but for one didn't survived and it'll happen again. This happened before in Jersey beach in 1916, five people chewed up in the surf. Tell him about the swimmers.
Hooper: A shark is attracted to exact kind of splashing and activity that occurs whenever human beings go swimming. You cannot avoid it.
Brody: You open the beaches on the 4th of July, it's like ringing the dinner bell for christ sake!
Hooper: Look, Mr.Vaughn, I pulled a tooth the size of a shot glass, out of a rect tow of a boat out there, and it was the tooth of a great white.
Brody: It was Ben Gardner's boat it was all chewed up, I helped towed it in, you should've seen him.
Larry: Where where is that tooth? Did you see it, Brody?
Fang: I have it right here, Mr.Mayor.(Fang saids and takes out the shark tooth that was found)

Larry: And this was found on Gardner's boat?
Fang: I was in the water with Mr.Hooper when we found Gardner's boat last night. Not the only the tooth we found but we also discovered Ben Gardner's remains, it was not a site you didn't want to see.
Hooper: This is the tooth of the shark that has been causing the problems here on the island.
Larry: What did you say the name of this shark was?
Hooper: It's a Carchardon Carcharias. It's a great white.
Fang: And we have the tooth and the proof that the shark is still out there waiting for it's next moment to make another attack. So what do you wanna do Mr.Mayor?
Larry: Look we depend on the summer people here for our very lives. Hooper: You're not gonna have a summer unless you deal with this problem! Larry: And if you close those beaches we're finished!
Brody: We are not only have to close the beach, we're gonna have to hire someone to kill the shark! I mean we'll have to tell the coast guard. We're gonna have put up extra deputies on because there ain't nothing in the world that's come in here! We've got to spend money to save what we've got.
