You are a stage actress in seventeenth century Spain, using your modest beauty and lovely voice to entertain the masses.
Several months ago, you met with the young prince jack taylor, a man not set to rule so who makes his merry with war, duels, adventures through town and of course the theater. starting a whirlwind romance. But he had to leave for more war, and had no chance to tell him where to write.
All this time you wait for his return, but your hope steadily declines.
Until one night, the theater is opened for a new play, the first scene you having to be wooed by the ugly, pushy, groped actor who is thirty years your senior.
As you try not to puke in front of the audience, booming voice reaches from the back boxes.
"Swine, you king of clowns! Vacate my stage! And take your cloven hooves off my rose!"
