Manon's POV

The ceremony was coming to an end and the wolves from the ally packs were still dancing.  I've never been to a werewolf ceremony, or an actual human wedding so I was surprised how well I kept from making a fool of myself.  I talked to some of Ronan's family, only his siblings Piper and Jared.  We continued to talk before they were called by another group of people leaving me and Ronan to ourselves.

"Do you want to dance?" he asked grabbing my wrist.  NO! I do not want to dance, I never learned to dance never even tried!  "Um, sure." So much for not making a fool of myself.  He started to walk over to the dance floor dragging me behind.  "Actually Ronan."  I started not sure what to say. "I'm actually, uh, not feeling all that good, uhm, I think I shouldn't, but I'll watch you from here." I tried my hardest to plaster a fake smile, but I've never been all that good at lying.

"How do you expect me to slow dance all by myself?" he said with a slight chuckle turning towards me grabbing my waist.  I huffed and lowered my head, but his hand raised it making me look him in the eyes.  "What?" He chuckled more as a statement than a question.  "Okay, okay, I suppose you got me here." I said trying to lighten my mood.  "I've never exactly danced before." I whispered just so he could here.

"It's okay, I haven't either." He stated before dragging me to the dance floor.  "WHAT?!"  I exclaimed as he shushed me and continued watching other people's feet.  I gave him my best angry look, which didn't last long considering the tingles from his touch made me melt.  Goddess hours with my mate and I'm already obsessed.

"Okay just do the opposite of me."  He stated holding my wast and hand.  From what I watched I was supposed to put my free arm on his shoulder so that's what I did.  I stared at his feet doing the opposite and finally started to catch a pattern.  I guess it's not all too hard.  Manon 1, dancing 0.

I felt his hand remove from my waist and tilt my chin up to look at him.  He replaced his hand on my waist and continued dancing, but now with a cocky smirk.  "Why did you ask me to dance knowing you didn't know how to?" I said squinting my eyes. "Because I thought it would be romantic." he replied his smirk only growing wider. I rolled my eyes giving him a scoff.

We continued our attempt at dancing until the song was almost over.  Sometime through the dance our bodies got closer until our stomachs were close to touching.  I could feel the tension rising as he looked down at me into my eyes then to my lips. His head gracefully lowering until his lips were almost touching mine.  I could feel his breath fan my face and I closed my eyes just before his lips came down onto mine.

I felt sparks encircle my body.  The tingles when we touched were nowhere as powerful as this felt.  I was way past cloud 9.  I responded loving the feeling he made me feel hoping that I could give him the same.  What felt like all too soon the song ended and he broke the kiss leading me away from the dance floor.

He brought me to the counters in the kitchen away from the ceremony and music.  I could hear it playing faintly along with Luke's soft snores.  He passed out on the counter in his suit holding a 'sippy cup'.  Lately I've been calling him Bear, mostly because he's a bear to handle, always needs to sleep with me and loves to annoy the living shit out of me.  I can't help but love him though.
