Ronan's POV
Everything was going smoothly between Manon and I. She's opening up to me more and doesn't avoid conversation. In fact she's more talkative than I remember. Although we've been pretty open with each other, we've been avoiding talking about her heat. Tomorrow it starts and I don't want her to feel pressured into doing anything with me.
I'm not going to lie, I do want Manon, more than anything. If she let me, I would have probably taken her the first night I saw her. Although I want her, if she chose to mate with someone else I would understand. I may not like it, but I'll support her in anything she chooses.
I ran my fingers through my hair before brushing my teeth. It was 7:00 in the morning and Manon has been itching to train. I thought I'd wake up early and get ready for training. I don't like the thought of her being there alone.
I don't have any doubt in her abilities, I just don't like the thought of mutts eyeing her. I spit and rinsed, pulling on a shirt and walking into the guest room. She's been sleeping there ever since last heat. I would love for her to sleep in my room, but we're not there yet, and I don't want to push it.
When she first started sleeping there I slept outside the door. I felt more comfortable knowing she was safe in there, but I realized if she got up early she'd think I was a stalker.
I opened the door to her room, shaking the bed until her eyes shot open. "Yeah?" She rubbed her face, sitting up. "Do you want to go to training with me?" Her face lit up. "Yeah! Give me a second." I chuckled at her. She was like a child on Christmas. I walked out the room, heading downstairs to grab some stuff for training.
I pulled two waters out of the fridge as well as two Gatorades. Then I went to the dryer and grabbed two small towels to use as sweat towels. By the time I was back from the laundry room, Manon was downstairs.
"Hey." I smiled handing her one of each. She smiled back, taking them. Her hair was pulled up in a high pony tail, she wore a camo sports bra and some black spandex. On her chin there was some white foam. I furrowed my brows wondering what it could be.
I reached out, gently wiping it off with my thumb. I looked at the foam, mint smell coming from it. I chuckled, wiping it on my shorts. "Toothpaste." Manon smiled, red blush forming on her cheeks. Her blush faded as she glanced at the clock.
"We should go. I don't want to be late." I nodded, following her out the door, then jogging behind her to the training grounds. We reached them, all commotion stopping, and all the pack members staring at us.
We were no longer a secret, thanks to my outbreak a few days ago. After a few moments I yelled to the group to continue training. They all simultaneously replied "Yes, Alpha." before continuing whatever they were doing before.
Jaxon walked over to us, bowing his head before greeting us. "Alpha, Luna." Manon turned a reddish color. "It's still Manon, JP." He nodded, looking at me for approval. I nodded my head, "If she wants you to call her by her name you can." He smiled at her, which made me growl. "Of course L- Manon."
