Persephone's P.O.V
Breathe. BREATHE...I gasped and gulped in air, but my heart wouldn't stop racing, and my stomach would not calm. I made the dreadful mistake of looking once more back at what once had been Hera. Bile rose in my throat and I urgently leaned over the side of the nearest bushes and heaved up everything from the past day. The disgusting unattractive splattering sound echoed across the garden and I groaned in horror.
This is NOT lady-like at all. Mother would have a fit.
Still groaning I straightened up and stumbled across the garden and out into the maze, I didn't know where I was going and I didn't care anywhere but there. My mind was racing and it wouldn't stop, too many thoughts, too many questions. Stumbling along like the helpless drunk Dionysius I continued.
Turning once more I was out of the maze and into the grounds of Olympus. Though I didnt live here I had visited the place often enough to know the place fairly well. There was only one place that I could go. Now walking a bit more steady I began walking faster. The outlines of Olympus became blurred, unclear watery objects that I couldn't focus on, at the same time I realized that I could begin to taste salt in my mouth.
Tears streamed down my face and I hastily made my way up the stairs towards the tower that served as me and Hades housing when we were on Olympus. After forever I reached the top and burst through the doors, sobbing now. And stopped dead in my tracks, I forgot to even breathe.
"Ahhh, there you are dearest. I was wondering where you have been." Hades sighed leaning lazily against the doorway to the bedroom. "Such a shame, you just missed a very interesting show in the gardens earlier, though by the looks of you. You have heard something about it already have you?" Slowly, very slowly he smiled and chuckled "Oh dearest, I did tell you to not stick your nose into places it didn't belong."
The door slammed shut behind me, a whirled around, the last thing I saw was the Fates grinning manically. And then all went black.
