Athena's P.O.V

Making my way through the corridors of Olympus, I was annoyed. The looks the other gods and goddesses gave me were infuriating, it wasn't any of their business. As for the people who came up and asked me if I was ok, the nerve! To be honest I was perfectly fine, of course I had had the suspicion my entire life that Hera wasn't my mother, but of course I never said these things out loud. The others would scorn me and ask behind my back "Why is SHE the goddess of wisdom?" I was surprised if only a little, that I had a brother most things don't go unnoticed I need to be more observant so I can notice more things like that. The fact that Zeus had thrown him into Tartarus didn't surprise me either, he had chopped his own father up into little pieces and taken his throne. No doubt he feared that a son of his would also overthrow him.

I passed Hebe and Hercules I rounded the next corner, and their hastily looks away was a dead give away that they had just been discussing my....situation. I lifted my head up higher and straightened my back, I would not be the face of pity, I would be proud. I walked past them not giving them a second glance, until this moment I hadn't really thought about where I was headed until I realized what part of the palace I was in. My feet had memorized the path to his house.

Apollo. My face gave my feelings away, despite the day; I was smiling.

The house loomed in front of me white on the outside with streaks of gold surrounding the windows and doorways, solid gold steps led up to the door. On the door musical notes were chiseled in white gold and they danced across the sun rays.

I knocked. It didn't make much of a sound but he must have known I would stop by; the door opened. "Hey" I grinned, I haven't figured it out yet how he always made everything perfectly fine. He smiled back at me, his perfect tan making his lopsided smile even brighter, it literally made my day.

"Can't say I wasn't expecting you," He joked. "but by all means, come in." He stepped aside and followed me into the house, and into the kitchen.

"Do you want some hot chocolate?" He inquired.

"Yes please, you know how I like it." I replied as I walked into the living room and sat on the sofa. He practically followed me into the room, which made my smile even bigger.

"You knew I would have some." I said playfully shoving his shoulder when he sat down next to me on the couch. He replied with a smirk; "I know you too well"

My smile faded and so did my voice "Yeah well, I didn't even know myself as well." We sat there in silence thinking about earlier that day. I sighed, leaning my head back, my hands cupping the hot chocolate. "I know you've probably been asked this a million times already but how are you feeling?" He asked me with real concern. I was surprised to realize when he asked me that, I wasn't annoyed. He really cared. "Honestly-"

"Ambush!" yelled someone outside.

Every muscle in my body tensed up, and I could fell myself instinctively jumping to my feet. Forgetting about my hot chocolate I accidently threw it into the air, its contents spilling on the floor. I hardly had time to say "Ooops" before Apollo pulled me out of the house each of us summoning our battle gear and weapons. For him a bow, for me a sword.

"Hey at least I didn't have to use the window this time!" I yelled to him. Given the situation we were in he probably would have laughed longer but he had only time for a light chuckle. As we raced outside sprinting, we checked the situation. Two giants both armed with weapons hinted with blood, and five hydras already intact with nine heads each. "Great," Apollo said next to me "It had to be hydras.
