This was meant to be a one-shot but, things happen you know?

Sam is very picky when it comes to people touching his hair. Sure his brother might make jokes about it every once in a while and 'Want me to braid it and put a bow in it Sammy?" make other smart remarks, but it never bothered him. You can't spell brother without 'bother' after all.

But there was always that one time every month that bugged the hell out of Sam more than anything.

Hair cuts.

It was never really bad just a simple trim to even out those 'pretty brown locks'. He'd usually do it himself since he didn't trust people with his hair, especially Dean, but alas, a bet is bet and if you lose, you have to pay the price.

In this case Sam.

More specifically, his hair.

Sam was dreading it the entire drive to the barber shop as Dean drove him, singing "Lonesome Lullaby" by ELO the entire way there.

They had taken upon themselves to do the 'Peeps marshmallows' fuzzy bunny challenge where you stick as many marshmallows in your mouth as you can while still being able to say fuzzy bunny.

If Dean lost, he would have had to help Kevin with research for his school report for the entire month. Groaning in frustation, Dean had agreed...but only if Sam would cut about an inch of hair...at a real barber shop.

Both brothers agreed to the terms and had proceeded to stick the marshmallows in their mouths. He was so confident he could win, he didn't care about his hair for just a sec if it meant getting Dean to do some research for once.

The shock came to him as soon as he couldn't take any more of those monstrous fluffy sweets in and spat them out on the sink. With a victorious deformed grin, Dean slapped him on the back and finished chewing the marshmallows.

"Time for that haircut Sammy!" Dean said snapping Sam out of the dazed state he was in. He visibly gulped and tried giving Dean the puppy eyes, but the attempt was futile.

"Come on Sam! How bad can this be?" Dean asked only to be responded back with a bîtchface.

"Ok ok, look there's a bar right across from here, how 'bout you meet there after your done and I'll buy you a beer. Deal?" Dean tried again. Sam rolled his eyes.

"Fine," he finally responded and got out of the car.

The barber shop loomed over him as if it were a clown house making him feel like a little kid again. He looked at the "Open and Welcome!" sign and sighed as he walked in.

He was greeted with the smell of a fruity scent and the sounds scissors clipping away at dreams.

"Cassie! I'm going out for lunch! You want any-woah!" the man at the counter exclaimed as he looked up from the computer screen. He was shorter than Sam and had his hair tucked behind his ears. He popped the lollipop out of his mouth and called out to the man clipping away at a customer's hair in the back.

"Cassie you got another! And handsome one too," the man said non-chalantly.

Sam felt his cheeks burn at the comment and reminded himself to punch Dean for making him come here in the first place.

"Give me just a second Gabriel. I'm about to finish," a deep rough voice came from the back.

"So, what's your name?" Gabriel said as he typed into the computer.

"Um...Sam Winchester," he stated as Gabriel typed away into the computer.

"Well moose, as much as I would love to stay and chat with you, I believe it's now my lunch break," Gabriel said as he got up to head out.

"Bring me back a burger!" Cassie? called as Gabriel left out the door.

"All done Alfie! Now if you could just follow me to the front," Cas said as he dusted off the hair from Alfie's shoulder.

The two of them walked to the front and Sam was met with some very blue eyes. The sun just had to choose that moment to stream in through the window and hit him in the eyes making them seem even more radiant then before.

Sam knew in that moment, he was officially screwed.
