Sound of silence
Does silence speak better than words,
Or none can listen to it, is that its curse?
Does silence speak softly or screams aloud?
Has anyone ever heard its sound?
Can you listen when there is no noise,
Or does it sing with hints, hiding its voice?
Does it hold laughter or only allow to cry?
Is there a love hidden, or just hatred and denial?
Is silence a language, or where words end?
Does it mean a start or finish, on situation depends.
Is it harsh to tolerate or feel soft and calm?
On your mouth or your ears, where should you place your palm?
Do you need solitude, or can it be heard in a crowd?
Is there a place where only it is found?
If you had to describe it in a line,
The sound of silence, how can you define?
