I don't really know why I ever left my room. But I did. So that was something.

It had been two months since James left; two months since I actually smiled; two months since I interacted with any other human; two months since I did anything really.

I opened the door and shuffled out of my room. Natalie looked up startled and dropped her phone when she saw me standing in the doorway. Before I could even get a word out, Natalie was already hugging me and crying into my shoulder.

"Hi." I said when she finally pulled away. Her eyes widened and a few tears spilled out of them.

"Hi." She said back giggling a bit. She dragged me to the kitchen and set me at the bar. "Are you hungry? I can go order something? Well actually, you really do need to go out. You've been a hermit for like two months. Oh! I know! I'll make you some Ramen, then you can go shower and get dressed, and we'll go to the mall? How's that sound?" She was talking so fast I was getting dizzy.

"Yeah. That sounds great." I said forcing a small smile. I really didn't want to go, but Natalie looked so excited, I couldn't take that away from her. So we did just that. We ate some Ramen, I took a shower and and hour and a half later, we were at the mall.

The first thing Natalie ever did while shopping, was go straight for the dresses. I wasn't really sure why considering she hated them. So while Natalie made a beeline for the dresses, I went to a different section. It was habit to go here. This was were he got all his close.

I shook the thought from my mind and turned away running into someone. The person laughed a little and stepped back.

"I- I'm sorry." I stuttered. The boy looked down at me and smiled.

"It's okay." The boy kept smiling until eventually, I was smiling. It may have been small, but it still counted as one.

I looked back up at the boys face and was struck by how beautiful he is. He had the most beautiful brown eyes I'd ever seen, tan skin and dark hair. And his face was just so squishy. He was beautiful.

Natalie pulled me away to show me something she found and when I turned around, the boy was gone.
