Well, now that I ran from Calum, I was back to my old self.
"Anna," Natalie yelled banging on the door, "Are we really gonna do this again?"
"Yes." I said. The banging went silent. That was the first thing I said in two months.
From beside me, my phone vibrated. I reached over to look at it already knowing who it was.
Calum:
Anna. C'mon.
Its been two months since you've spoke to me.
Please say something?
Anything?
I don't even know if you're alive right now.
Wait.
Are you alive?
Anna:
Yes.
I gave him the same reply I gave Natalie. It seemed to shut both of them up for a short while.
Well as it turns out, Calum shutting up actually meant, Calums coming over. So fifteen minutes later, there was more banging on the door.
I just ignored it.
"Anna. Open. Up. The. Door." A different voice yelled. I froze at the voice and tried to stay as quiet as possible.
I already let one in regretted it for two months. I won't let another.
"Anna. Please." The banging stopped and the voice was almost a whisper now. "Anna, let me in please?"
I got up and unlocked the door.
