One month later, Calum decided to take to "his spot."
"Are you ever going to tell me where we are going?" I asked him.
"Nope." He said with a cheesy annoying smile.
"Caluumm," I looked at him, "I get car sick."
"Don't worry. We're almost there." He was laughing. James never laughed when I mentioned car sickness.
"You said that an hour ago!" I laughed.
"It hasn't even been an hour! Its been like," He paused to look at the clock, "Its been twenty minutes!"
"Shut up." I mumbled.
"Okay. Well you can stop suffering now and get out of the car." My eyes widened and I looked at him terrified. "I'm not kicking you out don't worry." So I got out.
Calum came around the car, grabbed my hand and started dragging me through the trees.
"Calum?" He hummed. "Is this where you kill me?" He laughed.
"Yes." Then he doubled over laughing. "I can't believe you would ask me that!" He then stopped and looked around. "Actually. I guess it does look like a place someone would kill someone else." He shrugged and continued.
"Calum. We've been walking for five minutes. If you not going to kill me with a stick, you'll kill me from movement."
"You're so impatient. And anyways, its right there." He pointed his finger in the direction and seconds later we were standing in a field surrounded by trees with a small pond in the middle.
I thought back to the day when Calum said he couldn't compete with James. But, he just did.
I reached up and whispered in his ear, "You just did." And a small smile spread across his face.
