I was sitting down eating breakfast at the table of four in Michaels kitchen. I remember thinking over everything that has happened these last few days last night. My thoughts were a mess, I was a mess. Although now a part of me accepts that I'm here but the other wants me to keep fighting. I don't know which part of me to listen to. I didn't think I'd admit to my longing of Marshall, he's still consuming my thoughts and it's not even 2 am.

Michael came back in the kitchen interrupting my thoughts.

"Hey so I found some red bull to really get you ready for today. Did you like the eggs? Sorry I didn't have anything else I'm not here often I-" I stopped Michael from his rambling and told him I loved red bull and I appreciated it.

Due to the lack of sleep I had last night, I fell asleep on the ride back to the base. I woke up to the sound of a phone ringing non-stop. Michael took notice of my awakening and said,

"Wow! About time, sleeping beauty is awake!" I laughed at his little nickname for me. "Well anyway beauty, you've been out the whole car ride and I've had to deal with being alone and my phone ringing non-stop." He looked over at his phone, then back to the road ahead of him.

"Haha, sorry about that. Didn't get much sleep last night, who keeps calling you anyway?" I asked.

"Actually, it's Marshall."

I felt my heart flutter at the sound of his name.

"He's your boss, shouldn't you answer him?" I looked away to hide the smile creeping on my face just from talking about him.

"Well I probably should although the last 4 calls were of him asking about you and you only. It was getting quiet annoying, listening to him sound worried and all."

And this is when I couldn't stop the smile from forming onto my face. "Me? He's worried for me? Why?"

Michael took a glance at me and his small smile fades away as he saw my smile. Obviously knowing the cause of it. "Uh yeah. Even though he wouldn't admit it, he's worried. He just asked a couple questions here and there, nothing important."

I noticed Michael's quick change of attitude and asked him about it.
"Michael? Are you okay?"

"Yeah, fine sorry. Just a little worried for you, but don't question it, yeah?" He looked over at me with barely an expression etched on his face.

"Yeah alright. Anyway, earlier you said you were 'lonely' even though I was here ya know, asleep but still here!" I laughed at my attempt of a mood change.

"Ohhh yes of course I wasn't alone! How could I possibly be lonely, you did make plenty of snoring noises." Michael looked serious although I knew my attempt worked. So I playfully pushed at him with my hand and it only took him a splint second to return the gesture back.

And that's how the rest of the ride went, Michael making jokes, and I insanely laughing. Although it all soon came to an end when we reached the gates of the base. Michael took the car into a complete stop and gave one of the security guards a ID card, a quick swipe and we were back in.

I couldn't see the faction buildings or the courses from here. All I could see was a long type of building. Once we were passed the gate and on the inside, Michael drove his truck up to the long building. I hadn't took notice before, but now I see another Shady Records print splattered on the front of the building. This must be his office - Marshall's. We both got out the car and headed up the short steps. I looked up at the sky a bit and saw clouds everywhere, dark ones to be exact. Once Michael and I walked through the doors, all I could think about was him, Marshall. Nothing else, I couldn't focus on the courses I'd be doing, I couldn't focus on anything but him. I felt a rush of nervousness run past me. I was nervous, nervous I'd face Marshall again. Michael looked down at me and noticed everybody was consumed by their thoughts, he was the first to break the silence.
