"This is the Astute faction. Insanely clever, they are our eyes and ears. They work with technology, they operate the security Cameras and they help with any other problems we may have. They get down and dirty." Said Dre.

We were walking the halls of the Astute faction, it was much different than the Intrepid faction. The walls were the same dark shade of blue as the outside was, white tiles covered the floor making it difficult to just look at. Everything was so organized and the halls were extremely quiet.

Dre and I soon made it to the computer lab after stopping at the library. The library was half the size of the intrepid faction, it seemed.

My focus got back to the lab, computers were everywhere. I saw wires, some tangled together and others not. Though as many computers there were, there weren't as many people. I looked at the middle aisle and saw Marshall. A smile creeped on my face but quickly disappeared as I saw he wasn't alone. A blonde maybe just a few inches taller than both Marshall and I standing in front of him batting her eye lashes and constantly flipping her hair. She wore dark blue clothes, the astute uniform. Although she had a tight dark dress hugging her tightly.

"Huh, there are different types of uniforms I believe." I accidentally said out loud.

"Yes, yes they are, we have different styles, good spotting Amira!" Said Dre.

I gave him a small smile.

I couldn't help but look over at Marshall. He was looking at the blonde, arms crossed. He seemed to have a bored look on his face, maybe it was her flirting which was boring though he wasn't just looking at her perfectly edged face. Marshall caught my stare, I saw something in his eyes although it was wickedly covered with a cold hard stare right back. The blonde caught on and looked over my way with pure disgust on her face. She leaned in on Marshall and whispered something in his ear which indeed caught his attention.

I don't know what I was feeling, my stomach was turning, was this jealousy? Am I actually jealous? This is insane, I need to stop thinking like this.

I followed Dre to the computer Marshall was at. I saw the blonde walking away from Marshall and towards me.

"Bye Marshy! I'll see you later!" She said. Marshy? You've got to be kidding me, what the hell is a Marshy.

Marshall looked surprised with the name she used. "Uh huh bye Daniella." He said.

As I walked closer to the desk with a black computer placed on top, Daniella bumped into me. No, 'bumped' would be a understatement, she pushed me forcefully with her tan shoulders. I jerked back due to the push, Daniella just looks back containing a evil grin.

Dre interrupted our little I-don't-like-you encounter. "Amira, this is your second course. As you can see you were assigned in the technology course. Easy course this is, you'll be seated at the computer trying to fix the bugs and you'll fix all the cameras by using the second screen. I won't be timing you, but the computer will. You don't have much time is all I will say."

I seated down at the desk, looking behind me and saw a man who looked the same age as me with curious green eyes and hair oh so curly starring directly at me. He quickly looked away casually and got back to looking at his computers.

I looked at my computer, I didn't understand any of it. The screen was black with green numbers and words splattered on the screen. Some numbers were moving, and I heard a ding.

The course has begun.

I looked at my computer trying to focus, although it was impossible. I couldn't help but look up to see Marshall talking to other people. No, other girls. I could practically feel my jealousy irrupt, but I quickly pushed it away.
