Marshalls POV.

What did I tell you Marshall? another day has gone by and nobody's come for you.

They never cared enough to save you Marshall.

She never cared.

You couldn't even save yourself! why should she save you?

The voice - deep and thrilling, wouldn't leave my thoughts. It's laced within my veins, my blood belongs to him as does my mind and he's took control of everything. I'm no longer in control of myself or Perilous.

It hits me like a train each time it crosses my mind.

I'm nothing here, but once the chance comes I'm going to kill every single person here in sight.

"Get the fuck up boy!"

My thoughts were interrupted as the same heavy loaded guard banged on my cell at the same exact time he did every single day. It'd pissed him off even more every time I didn't give him a reaction, I'd laugh at him, tell him to piss off and he'd come in and beat the pulp out of me until his boss came in to personally escort me back up to whatever civilization they have here.

But the beating didn't come today.

"What? nothing?" I asked him, as I stood up, groaning from yesterday beat down.

"No, Jamal wants you up earlier today." He said, opening the cell door and tying my hands together with the same rope used every other day. Especially from the day I tied it around his neck. I would've killed him if nobody came back, but they did and that's when the beatings started.

"Wonderful." I said back, smiling.

As I walked up the cold basement stairs beside him, I noticed the gun in his waist band, closer to me than usual and figured it'd only take a couple seconds to pull it out.

But I didn't.

I already had a plan set out ad it'll only be a couple more days until I'd execute it.

Lost in my thoughts, I didn't even notice we were already at the office. A shitty office. Jamals quarters didn't come close to mine. This was all absolute garbage and everybody outside of his community was going insane. He didn't know what he was doing, so he'd come to me for help a couple months back.

I knew when he got what he wanted he'd kill me, I'm the biggest threat he has. But I'm going to get to him first. Just as many tricks my mind plays on me, I've learned to play on everyone around me. Mastering that act is what's going to get me what I want.

So, I've decided to help him.

The guard let me through the door, and locked it behind me. It was cold in here, as always. Jamal was looking at the screen they had on the wall in front of me. Streets, codes, people, they had access to everything. And they still couldn't find Amira, or begin to take control.

"Ahh Marshall! Glad you're able to join us." Jamal turned around, smirking at me. He'd became over confident, unaware of who I was because I hadn't been unleashed just yet.

I'll raise hell when I am. I kept thinking to myself.

"Wouldn't want to be anywhere else." I muttered to him.

The screens switched to a speech with a date and time: September 14, 2050 3:40 p.m.

That's when he's going to do it. It's happening this week.

"Sir, the speech has been modified into what you wanted and the arena is being set for you to speak on." One of Jamal's men said out loud.

"Great. Everything is being put in place just as I wanted. We'll meet in 10, I have some business with Mr. Mathers here." Jamal said, his hand motioning to my direction and arrogance laced in his voice.
