Marshalls POV.

6 A.M

The automatic gun in my hands felt heavier than I last remembered, but I kept a tight grip on it still as we jogged through the halls right out the cell I was stuck in for months. My breathing was heavy, my eyes burning and heart racing with anticipation waiting to face Jamal. There was no way I was leaving here without him dead or alive.

Our footsteps echoed through the halls, hitting the concrete floor, mine heavier than hers.

"So where is everyone else?" I asked as my eyes were kept forward.

"They're hidden surrounding the premises. You give the 'go' and they're coming in." Cristina said.

I didn't miss her voice at all. It actually really annoyed the living hell out of me. It was nothing like Amira's not even close. Hers was high pitched and she lingered her vowels as she spoke as if it was going to catch me on a hook.

it never really did. only when I had nothing better to do.

"Why were you the one to come in and get me?" I asked, truly confused. Cristina wasn't the type the fight or do any of the business that I'm in.

"Nobody else could get past the guards, I have my ways." I could hear the smirk on her face as she spoke.

We eventually got to the elevator that'll lead us out from the basement, but there was no way I could go up there alone. There'd be too many of Jamals men against me and I couldn't risk getting caught again.

"Call in." I told her.

"Its your men. You do it." She said as she threw me the the small radio.

I didn't even hesitate. "It's Em," I said through the static coming from the other end. "It's time, I'll meet everyone up there. Go now."

For some reason I didn't feel weak anymore. The gun wasn't heavy and neither was my chest. Something inside my head clicked and I shut everything I ever knew before this very moment off. It was me against everyone else and I was finally going to get everything I lost back.

I stepped into the elevator, clicked the button for the main floor and impatiently waited to get out. I could hear gun shots and footsteps thumping through the ceiling, indicating how much closer we were.

The elevator finally came to a stop and opened. I didn't waste anytime, I got out not expecting to see so many men from Perilous. They were all clothed in black with a skull plastered on their chests. I couldn't see anything but their eyes, the eyes that same as me longed for revenge. Everyone walked slowly in a line beside one other, pushing Jamals men back. As I got out the elevator and closer to the hall I noticed more men pushing from all corners of the building.

Jamal's men were being cornered to the middle - guns in hand and afraid to shoot.

"Your call!" One of my men said, still focused on the targets.

Jamal's men looked at me, sorrow and regret laced in their eyes. I knew what he meant by my call, he didn't need to ask everyone already knew what it'd be.

12 P.M

Hours passed and it's broad daylight outside and we were still in Jamals headquarters, looking for him.

We've captured at least half his men, the others we're guessing are with him or somewhere else around the compound waiting for us to come to them. But there was no way that was happening. We have the upper hand, our IT team shut down all the services so they couldn't go anywhere or do anything. More men of mine walked around outside and in the building searching for stragglers, but there was no luck yet.
