Chapter 12: Mission: Accomplished

"Now come on. We still have a lot of adventure to do." Sakura said, smiling as she pocketed the scroll of corpses. Koori smiled happily and nodded as they started running towards snow country.

Suigetsu and Karin

"Seriously! Why do I have to be stuck with you?!" Karin whined as they ran through the woods. "I think that's my line." Suigetsu muttered, twitching as he tried not to listen to Karin's constant whines.

Karin suddenly stopped whining making Suigetsu thank the gods. That is, until he heard a scream. "F**k Karin!" Suigetsu shouted as he turned around and saw no one.

He chased down Karin's trail of chakra as quietly as he could. A few minutes later, he came upon an abandoned cottage. Suigetsu peeked through the window with his chakra masked and saw Karin tied up on a chair. 'Looks like she'll get tortured for information.' Suigetsu thought.

A lady in black attire came out with a kunai and a whip. Suigetsu's and Karin's eyes widened as they recognized the lady. 'She's our target.' They both thought. "Tell us where Orochimaru is. I have a lot of avenging to do." The lady said.

Karin scoffed and said "Like hell I know. Heck I wouldn't tell you even if I know!" Karin shouted in agony as the lady stabbed Karin's hand. "Tell us!" The lady said, stabbing her other hand. "You can rot in hell!" Karin shouted. The lady glared at Karin and stabbed her through the stomach, making Karin grunt in pain.

A few torturing minutes later, Karin fainted, making the lady twitch in annoyance. "Dispose of her! I'll just find anoth--!" The lady was cut of when a huge volume of water hit them. Suigetsu ran in, ripping off the chakra ropes from Karin, carrying her outside bridal style.

Suigetsu came back in with Karin on his arms as he retrieved the corpse of their target. "You're such a handful." Suigetsu sighed as he layed Karin down and tried to stop her bleeding.

Juugo and Sasuke

Sasuke stabbed the last enemy with his katana as Juugo retrieved their target's corpse. They came upon a wounded animal on their way back. Juugo was about to lend it a hand until Sasuke stopped him.

Sasuke threw a shuriken at it as it got engulfed in flames. Chuckles were heard from behind one of the trees. "As expected of an Uchiha." A voice said as a man in cloak walked out of his hiding place.

'Our next target.' Juugo thought as he pulled out a kunai, but Sasuke beat him to it. Sasuke ran towards the target with emotionless eyes, katana at hand. Juugo watched Sasuke as the target dodged the attack.

The target took out a kunai and blocked Sasuke's katana with it. "I'm taking you with me!" The target said as he did a handsign. "Hn." Sasuke said, chidori at hand.

In a blink of an eye, Sasuke's hand is sticking out of the target's chest, where the heart is located. He pulled out his hand as he watched the target fall, motionless.

Juugo ran towards Sasuke and sealed the target's corpse in a scroll. "Let's go back." Sasuke said motionless as he started walking away with Juugo on his tail.
