"Come." Sakura said, walking towards the trainung grounds with Koori hot on her trails. "What are we going to do, Sakura-nee?" Koori asked. "Walk on trees." Sakura said, grinning as Koori looked at her weirdly.
"Watch." Sakura said, focusing chakra underneath her feet. She walked on the surface of the tree, shocking Koori. "I always thought that ninjas put something sticky under their feet." Koori said. Sakura handed him a kunai. "Mark the tree." She said, sitting down behind Koori as she watched him do his best. Koori let out a scream as he fell from the tree.
'He can enhance his chakra through meditation but he doesn't know how to use it. What the hell is this kid doing with his life?' Sakura thought, sighing.
'He was also able to control that snow. How can he not know a simple technique?' Sakura thought to herself. 'Don't tell me...' "Hey, Koori, last time on that mission, you were able to control the snow with chakra. Yet, you don't know how to climb a tree. Why is that?" Sakura asked, making Koori look at her."I accidentally learned how to control snow. I remember running away from someone. He was trying to kill me. Then, I just suddenly was able to control the snow. I ended up killing him in the process. From that day on, they started calling me a monster." Koori said, smiling sadly from the memory.
"Let go of the past, Koori. You have a new family now." Sakura said smiling. "No breaks until you reach half of the tree." She continued, making Koori twitch. "Yes, ma'am." He said, staring at the tree. 'I'll start a new from this point of my life.' Koori thought to himself, grinning as he ran up the tree.
"Pinky! Your f**king teammates!" A voice said, running through the training grounds. Sakura looked around and saw the source of the voice. "Hidan." She said. Acknowledging him. "What about my teammates?" She asked. "Come on!" Hidan said, pulling Sakura towards the living room with Koori hot on their trails.
They reached the living room. Sakura looked around and saw Kakuzu doing something and Jugo behind him. "Karin! Suigetsu!" Sakura said, as she stared at the beat up Suigetsu and Karin. "They just got back from a mission. Suigetsu was carrying the girl when they got here." Kakuzu said.
"S-s-sakura." Suigetsu said, barely keeping his eyes open. "Help....her. P-please...I....know you.....d-don't....like her....but...pl....ease." Suigetsu said, making Sakura look at Karin. "I'm.... S..o..useless." Suigetsu said, tears falling from his eyes. "Suigetsu." Sakura said, making him look at her. "I'll take care of her." She said, smiling.
With that Sakura sat beside Karin's beat up body. She took a closer look and saw burn marks around her eyes. She found this suspicious and opened her eyelids, inside, she saw Karin's eyeballs nearly cooked. "What could've caused this?" Sakyra whispered to herself as she got to work.
A few minutes later, Sakura's chakra was at half. But that was only due to healing Karin's eyes. She worked on her other wounds and soon turned to Suigetsu. "This was the same wound from Karin's face." Sakura whispered as she stared at Suigetsu's back with the same burn marks. Sakura's eyes dilated at the realization. A few minutes later, Sakura sat up straight and called for Kakuzu and Jugo. "Please bring these two to their rooms." She said getting up.
"Take care of Koori' s training while I'm gone." Sakura told Hidan, making him look at her in confusion. "Where the hell are you f**king going?!" Hidan asked. "To the one who caused their pain." Sakura said, turning on her heel.
