Chapter 2: Reunited

Sakura was about to attack the anbu, until she felt an arm wrap around her abdomen and started running towards the border of Konoha. She turned to look at the culprit, her eyes widened. "Kabuto." She whispered as he ran towards Oto.

He smiled at Sakura and said "I'll take you where your real home is." Sakura teared up at this.

The anbu appeared before Tsunade's eyes. "Hokage-sama, Sakura Haruno has escaped." The anbu said. Tsunade hit the table, breaking it in half. "This isn't good! Capture her dead or alive!" Tsunade ordered. "Hai!" The anbu said, disappearing with a puff of smoke.

Kabuto left traps on their trail to slow the anbus down. "You know the truth now Sakura-chan?" He asked Sakura, who is on his back. "Mmhm." Sakura nodded with sad eyes. "I can't believe I've been trying to kill my last relative. Konoha lied to me." Sakura said, shutting her eyes tightly.

Everything was silent between them until they got to the hideout. Kabuto walked towards Orochimaru's room and knocked thrice, he heard a come in and entered with Sakura still on his back. "I'm sorry uncle." Sakura said, letting her tears flow. Orochimaru's eyes softened at the sight of his niece.

"Kabuto, leave ussss for a while." He said. Kabuto nodded and settled Sakura down on her feet and left. Orochimaru shifted into a more comfortable position on his bed. He patted an empty space beside him and signaled Sakura to sit there.

Sakura slowly walked towards him and sat down. "Ssssakura, dear. I assssume you now know the truth." Orochimaru said. Sakura nodded looking down. "What are you going to do now?" Orochimaru asked.

"I'm staying uncle." Sakura said. "Sssakura, it issss very dangeroussss here. You know that right?" Orochimaru asked. Sakura nodded. "I know that full well uncle. That's why I won't leave. I'll protect my last relative even if it kills me." Sakura said, clenching her fists.

Orochimaru hugged Sakura and said "I missssed you, my dear blossssom." Orochimaru said, letting his tears fall. Sakura hugged him back and cried. "I'm so sorry." She mumbled.

They pulled away. "I'll leave you in Kabuto's hands, Sssakura. I'll be with you when I'm fully healed." Orochimaru said, giving her an apologetic smile. Sakura glanced at his hands. "Kabuto, enter." Orochimaru suddenly said. Kabuto entered, hearing his master's voice.

"I leave Ssssakura in your handssss. Train her, protect her, take care of her in my place." Orochimaru said. Kabuto bowed and said "As you wish lord Orochimaru." Orochimaru turned to Sakura and smiled. "Off you go now, Ssssakura, dear. Go wash yourssself and resssst." Orochimaru said.

Sakura nodded and followed Kabuto out. "My lord seems to really care for you Sakura-chan." Kabuto said as they made their way to Sakura's new room. Sakura smiled a little at what he said. A few seconds later, they reached Sakura's room. Just like any other room. This is dark and cold. With a plain bed, a dest, a chair, a closet, and a bathroom connected to it.

"I'll leave you to rest Sakura-chan. Just say my name and I'll be there." Kabuto said, smiling. Sakura smiled at him and nodded. 'Wait, was that a f**king flirt?! Cha! I'll kill him!' Inner said, completely enraged. Sakura laughed at this and entered the bathroom.She dried her hair and took a nap after.
