Chapter 10: Bounty Hunting

A few hours later, the trio returned to the hideout with Koori on Suigetsu's back. 'This kid is something else. I must report this to Sakura-sama quickly!' Shiro thought as she watch Suigetsu lay the kid down gently on a bed.

With that, Shiro disappeared into thin air and reappeared in a clearing in snow country where her master is resting. "Sakura-sama, the kid had showed signs of being a shinobi. He doesn't seem strong, but yet again, looks can be deceiving." Shiro said as she watched her master take everything in.

Sakura nodded and said "I shall be back by evening. Until then, please watch out for him." Shiro nodded and bowed, disappearing into thin air.

Shiro reappeared beside Koori's bed, only to see him not there. She suddenly felt fast vibrations of chakra coming from the training grounds. She ran towards the source and found Koori meditating with blue and white chakra surrounding his figure.

'Incredible!' Shiro thought in amazement as she watched the kid continue to meditate. A few minutes later, the chakra around him got stronger.

A few hours has passed and the sun is setting. Koori is still meditating and Shiro is still mesmerized by Koori's ability. Just as Shiro was about to go and get Koori, she was stopped when she heard foot prints.

Koori's eyes snapped open as he shot shards of ice towards the person's way. "You didn't look like someone who has a weak ability." Kabuto said, dodging the shards, smiling as he pushed his glasses up.

Koori simply glared at him and walked away. He passed Kabuto and Shiro, entering the living room. Only to see team hebi slacking.

Just as Koori stepped foot in the living room, the door flew right out of it's hinges, making team hebi get into stance. "The damned door wouldn't budge!" The pink haired girl said, nerve popping on her forehead as she clenched her fist.

"My my. You got your temper from you sssensssei now didn't you?" Orochimaru said, entering the living room with a smile. "Jii-san, my report." Sakura said, grinning as she handed him a scroll.

Orochimaru nodded, smiling as he took the scroll. Orochimaru walked away, returning to his room. "Please someone repair the door." Suigetsu said, sweat dropping. "I'm on it." Juugo said, walking towards the kitchen, looking for the tool box.

Koori silently walked towards the door frame. And soon ice started to form a door. Juugo went out with the tool box. He looked at the door frame and accidentally let go of the tool box, making everyone look at where he was looking.

"When did that get there?" Karin asked, raising an eyebrow. Sakura on the other hand was petting Koori's head with a huge smile on her face. "Great job, Koori." She said. Koori turned pink and looked away.

Sakura stood up straight and went to the kitchen. "I'm making dinner." She said. "I'll help." Suigetsu said, grinning as he follows her. "I'm going out for a while." Juugo said.

Karin scooted closer to Sasuke and said "That gives us privacy, Sasuke-kun~" "Hn. I'm going to train." Sasuke said, standing up, making Karin's face hit the soft cushion of the sofa.

A few hours later....

Sakura knocked on Orochimaru's door and heard a faint come in. Sakura entered as she saw team hebi, Koori and Kabuto waiting for her. "About time, pink b**ch." Karin said, scoffing. Koori shot Karin a glare, silencing her.

"All of you are going on a bounty missssion. We're running low on fundsss. You are going in pairsss. Kabuto will ssstay with me. Ssssasuke-kun will go with Juugo-kun. Sssuigetsu-kun with Karin. And since Sssakura-chan found Koori-kun, he isss going with her." Orochimaru said.

"Wait! Why am I not paired up with my Sasuke-kun?!" Karin complained. "Because you'll rape him in his sleep." Juugo said, making Suigetsu and Sakura laugh. "I paired him up with Juugo-kun becaussse only he can control Juugo-kun." Orochimaru said, effectively silencing Karin.

"You leave in an hour. Here are your targets." Kabuto said, handing each one of them a scroll. "Each pair will get two targets." Kabuto said, smiling.

"Disssmisssed." Orochimaru said. Everyone bowed and turned to leave. "Becareful Sssakura-chan." He said. Sakura turned and grinned at him. "I'll be back in one piece jii-san!" She said, closing the door behind her.
