Chapter 13: A Profound Kekkei Genkai

Juugo ran towards Sasuke and sealed the target's corpse in a scroll. "Let's go back." Sasuke said motionless as he started walking away with Juugo on his tail.

Sakura and Koori ran through the woods, soon it started getting colder and colder. "Koori." Sakura called out, stopping as she grabbed something in her backpack. Sakura pulled out a black coat, and threw it towards Koori. Koori caught it and stared at it. "What's this?" He asked.

"A coat to keep you warm." Sakura said smiling. "This is the first time someone gave me something to keep me warm." Koori said, gripping it tightly. Sakura looked at him confused.

"My dad used to bring me to snow country without giving me something to keep myself warm. He does that almost every week so I got adapted to the cold weather. He was trying to kill me. But fails every time." Koori said, letting a tear drop.

Sakura approached Koori and ruffled his hair, giving him a grin in the process. "Focus on smiling and face forward, Koori. I shall carry the burden that you have been carrying with you." She said.

Her grin disappeared when a kunai came their way. Both of them ran deeper into the snow country as thousands of kunai came upon them. Koori stopped and turned around. "You're in my territory!" Koori shouted as snow formed a wall and protected them.

Behind them, an archer hid amongst the trees. He aimed for Koori and release the arrow. The arrow hit Koori's shoulder, shocking both him and Sakura. He's eyesight got blurry, soon, he felt himself falling. 'Poison.' He thought, passing out as the wall of snow dispersed.

"Koori!" Sakura shouted, and she caught him from falling. "You d**ned b**tard." Sakura whispered, shadow covering her eyes. She turned around and looked at the archer, from at least a kilometer or two away, straight in the eyes.

Sakura's eyes slowly turned into a deep shade of blue as her hair turned white. The archer, along with the other ninjas, suddenly cried in agony, a few seconds later, blood was scattered all over the place. Koori's wound started to heal as the poison was taken out from his system.

Sakura came back to her old self with wide eyes. "What happened?" She whispered to herself. Sakura shrugged it off and carried Koori on her back. 'One of these might be our target.' Sakura thought looking at their faces as she ran.

Sakura stopped and pulled out a scroll. 'It's our target.' She thought as she sealed the body in the scroll. She stood up and quickly ran back home. 'I need to hurry!' She thought running as fast as she can.

She abruptly stopped and hid Koori and herself when she felt two strong chakras. "You f**king rag doll! F**king stitch me back to my s**tty body!" A voice shouted. Sakura's eyes widened as she saw their cloaks.
