Rebecca's POV:
I frowned at the ship around me. I hated living here.
Ever since the earth basically blew up we've had to live here on planet Mars in a stupid ship.
It's been this way for at least a year now.
I sighed and looked out my window at space. I felt like I didn't have a purpose in life anymore.
"Rebecca?" I heard my mom call to me from her side of our room.
"Yes?" I asked her with a roll of my eyes.
"I think you should join one of the ship activities. I'm sure you'd have fun..." My mom told me. She was always trying to get me to make friends and go out and do activities.
"Mom, that's not my thing." I grumbled and then left the room before she could say anything more.
My mom just didn't understand me at all.
I went to the lounge which was pretty quiet at this time of day.
I sat down on the couch and watched the holographic TV. It was announcing the usual daily rules. I frowned. I never liked following the rules.
"Opfh! Oh sorry..." I heard someone say behind me. I glanced back to see that a girl had bumped into a older man.
"Watch where you're going brat!" The man hissed and then walked away.
I groaned and got up from the couch. Men on the spaceship didn't respect women. It was barbaric really.
I decided to go talk to the girl.
