Laurie's POV:
"Marie!" I whined from my bed.
"What is it now?" Marie looked agitated.
"We're out of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream!" I whined some more.
"Well maybe if you stopped eating it all that wouldn't be the case." Marie gestured to a pile of empty ice cream cartons.
"I'm eight months pregnant. The least you could do was show some sympathy." I rolled my eyes and looked away.
"I'm case you've forgotten, I'm six months pregnant." Marie shot back and then left the room. Good, I'm glad she's gone. I needed my alone time.
Marie's POV:
I went over to Rebecca's room. I needed to get away from Laurie's whining and moodiness.
When I got there I saw Maddie, Heidi, Rebecca, Chad and Rebecca's mom.
"Hey guys." I greeted them and sat down next to Rebecca.
"Too much whining?" Maddie gave me a knowing look.
"You guessed it." I agreed.
Suddenly there was a loud knock on the door."I'll get it." Rebecca's mom said and opened the door to see the ship commander.
"Hello ma'am." The commander spoke in a serious voice.
"Can I help you sir?" Rebecca's mom asked.
"I'm looking for an escaped fugitive. He is thin, has blue eyes, dirty blonde hair...have you seen anyone matching that description?" The commander asked.
Everyone exchanged looks of confusion.
"I'm sorry. We haven't...is he dangerous?" Rebecca's mom looked concerned.
"Yes, that's why it's important that he's found immediately." The commander stated and then left.
"There's a fugitive on the lose?" Maddie looked afraid and held Heidi close.
"Don't worry...it's going to be ok. I'm sure of it." Chad noted and then put his arm around Rebecca.
"I hope so... I want my kid to grow up in a safe environment." I stated and placed a hand on my belly.
