Rebecca's POV:
About four months have passed and it's getting close to the time when little Joshua is due. Pepper has been staying with me and my mom ever since Maddie's step dad made her drink the blue medicine. Pepper's baby bump was visible now.
I heard a knock on the door and then Maddie came in holding Fawn and Heidi. She was now also seven months pregnant. Marie was right behind her holding Marly and Benjamin. Marie was somehow also pushing a stroller with little Nina inside. Nina was basically Marie's daughter now.
"We need to get our own place." Maddie told me.
"That would be great...but how?" I looked from Pepper to Maddie.
"There's this empty room down the hall. The commander says we can have it." Marie smiled big.
"Then let's move in before someone else does." I grinned and began packing my things.
"Maybe that's not a good idea..." My mother suddenly spoke.
"Mom, I'm fourteen now. I can handle myself." I grinned and glanced up to see my mom was covering herself with a blanket, "Mom? Why are you hidi-" I stopped when I removed the blanket. I could tell by my mother's belly she was at least five months pregnant.
"I couldn't help myself...I just needed another baby." My mother looked ashamed. I couldn't believe that my mother actually took more of the blue medicine.
"Is it...going to be a boy or a girl?" I slowly asked.
"A boy." My mom smiled a little and stroked her belly.
"Congratulations." Maddie told my mother with a warm smile.
"Thank you." My mother grinned.
"Now Rebecca, pack your stuff. We need to get a move on." Maddie told me and then left the room with Marie.
Pepper packed the little that she had and then went down the hall to our new room. I had to make three trips to get all my stuff over.
Gregory looked around the room curiously. It was a lot bigger than most rooms which surprised me. There were three beds and plenty of room to move around in.
"Wow..." Was all I could say. I then giggled when I saw Heidi walking around very wobbly. She still was trying to get the hang of walking but she was doing so good. I put Gregory down and he began to crawl towards Heidi.
"Gregory can't walk yet?" Maddie looked surprised.
"Well he's not even a year old yet." I shrugged and began to unpack my things.
That's when I heard Gregory cry. He must need to be changed because I smelled something awful. I sighed and went over to Gregory quickly. Unpacking would have to wait a little longer.
