Maddie's POV:
It was later during the day now and I was hanging out in the lounge with Laurie and Rebecca.
I was reading the book of baby names.
"Hmm...hey guys? What do you think of Gavin for a boys name?" I asked and glanced at the two girls.
"I think it's cute." Laurie nodded her approval.
I looked at Rebecca who seemed to be in deep thought. I think she wasn't expecting the medicine to have worked on Laurie.
"Rebecca?" I waved my hands in front of her.
"Huh?" She looked at me and blinked her eyes quickly.
"What do you think of Gavin as a boys name?" I repeated.
"Oh um...it's cute." Rebecca nodded.
"You know... I understand that you might be a little scared about the whole baby thing. I was scared too. But once you accept that you're going to be a mother things get easier." I smiled and patted Rebecca's arm.
"Easy for you to say..." Rebecca whispered and looked down.
I sighed and went back to my book.
"Ooo! Heidi for a girl's name!" I gushed. I loved that name for some reason.
"I love it!" Laurie chimed in with a smile.
I looked back at Rebecca who was now snuggling on the couch with her eyes closed.
I'd have to be supportive and help Rebecca see how great her life is going to be. She doesn't realize yet how wonderful it will be to be a mother.
