The Club

Chad

Laurie's POV:

"There he is!" I squealed and went up to a man who was sipping a cup of tea at a table in the lounge.

He always wore a old yellowish hat and his dark brown hair was messy but in a stylish way. He has these gorgeous brown eyes and a light mustache too.

"Oh hello girls." Chad smiled politely and sipped his tea again.

"This is Rebecca." I introduced my friend and pulled her forward.

"Hi..." Rebecca spoke softly.

Chad's POV:

As soon as I saw Rebecca I dropped my tea cup on the table clumsily. Thankfully it was empty so there wasn't a mess.

Rebecca is beautiful... The most beautiful girl I've ever seen.

"Um hello...pleasure to meet you." I awkwardly shook her hand. I noticed that she was pregnant...just like Laurie and Marie. Were they all in a special club or something?

"So Chad...tell us about yourself." Laurie interrupted my thoughts. She sat down at the table slowly. Rebecca and Marie sat down as well.

"Well um... I like tea, all kinds of it." I shrugged not knowing what to say.

"Heehee yeah I know that." Laurie giggled.

"Um... I love watching cooking shows and I enjoy reading." I felt slightly uncomfortable now.

"Cool! We should hang out sometime." Laurie replied in a flirty tone. I glanced over at Rebecca out of the corner of my eye. I'd much rather hang out with her.

"Maybe..." I mumbled and lay back in my seat.

"Great!" Laurie grinned and then got up with Marie to leave. Rebecca was about to follow them but I decided to stop her.

"Um, Rebecca? Are you busy tonight?" I asked nervously.

"Just spending the night home as usual." Rebecca shrugged.

"Come over to my place for dinner. I'll cook something real nice for you." I smiled nicely.

"Oh um... I don't know..." Rebecca looked hesitant.

"It's important for a pregnant woman to eat properly." I grinned at her teasingly.

"Haha...alright, I'd enjoy a nice dinner." Rebecca smiled. I excitedly put my room number down on a piece of paper and handed it to her.

"Dinner will be ready around 6:30." I told her and then walked away with a smile on my face.
