Chapter-12 Bad is not at all bad

Anu's POV

Rohit dropped me to my house. I thanked him for the lift n bid him bye.
We didn't talk throughout the journey. There was something, that was killing me inside.

Mom- Aa gai beta.

Me- Hmmm
I didn't pay much attention to mom. N went straight to my room.
I was angry for no reason. It is his life, why m i feeling pale.

I had my dinner.. N went to my bed.

Sonam called me, she will not be going  college today. I didn't asked the reason tough.
Papa dropped me college. I was really not in the mood to drive by my own.

I reached college by 8.45am.
I heard people talking about freashers'. I guess, it has been postponed for a week. God damnit...
I went to the lockers room.
To my surprise, nobody was there today  except me n Arpita, 'the so called hottest girl. Bt what is she doing there alone.. I ignored her. Took out my books n was about to leave, suddenly i heard her.

Arpita- Hey you...

Me- Did u called me?
I was a bit surprised

Arpita- Don't try to be over smart.

Me- Excuse me...

Arpita-You are not excused.. N stay away from Rohit.. Else u will suffer. He is just mine... Mind it.

N she left. I was literaly shocked as well as confused. Arpita is not that girl who was in the photoghaph.. Then why Arpita  wants me to stay away of him.. Damn...

I am scared. I am confused. I don't even have Sonam beside me today.

Me locker room se bahar aati hu. Lekin mere dimag me bht se sawal the. Me class me jaane ki badle main gate ki taraf jaa rai thi. Kal us photo k bad, Rohit ko face karna nai chahti thi. Lekin aj jo locker room me hua, me darr gai us se.

Me college se nikli n jaane lagi. Tabhi mene Harsh ko dekha. Wo bike se meri taraf aa raha tha. I mean sayad college ki taraf. Usne mere ko dekha. Aur wo mere samne ruka.

Harsh- Hey Anu.. Kahan jaa rai hu. College us taraf h.
He said in one go.

Me- Me ghar jaa rai hu.
I spoke in a pale voice

Harsh- Kya ho gaya.. Kisi ne kuch bola kya..
He said with a concern in his voice

Me- mmm.. Nai kuch nai. Wese hi bas

Harsh- Chalo betho. Aj hum college bunk karte h. Kahin ghumne jaate h

Me- But..

Harsh- But what kuch nai. Chup chap betho...
He said in a commanding voice. Aur mene uske command follow v kia. Me bhi break chahti thi. So me v beth gai

Me- But plz drive slow. Mere ko darr lagta h.

Harsh- Ok baba.

He is a sweet boy. Rohit bad boy ho sakta h, bt Harsh dont deserves such tag. Wo bht caring h..

Me-Hum jaa kahan rae hai.

Harsh- Dekhte h.

Me- Still koi to jagah hogi.

Harsh- Cafe chalte h, yahan se half n hour dur h, mene kafi bar notice kia. Aj jaake v dekh lenge.

Me- Hmm.. Ok.

45 mins k ride k bad hm ek cafe pahunche, town k bahar tha so jada crowd bhi nai tha. I liked the place. N Harsh, usne bike bht slow chalai. I liked him too for that.
Harsh itna sweet h ki, me baki saari baate bhul gai thi. Hum cafe me jaate h.

Harsh ne mere lie chair nikali. Acha laga mere ko.

Harsh-So ab batao kya hua?

Me- Kuch nai.
I was ignoring his eyes.

Harsh- Hum ab dost h, n tum bata sakti ho apni sari problems.

I saw concern for me in his eyes. I never share my problems with others, except Sonam. But aj laga ki i can trust Harsh.

Mene use locker case k bare me bataya. But Rohit n crush wali baat nai batai. Is in yeh jada importnt nai laga mere ko us waqt.

A waiter came to our table. He was arround 50..

Waiter- Arey Harsh beta kafi dino baad aaye ho.

Harsh- Haan uncle. Busy tha thoda.

Waiter- Chalo acha h, aj fursat mil gai.  Kya looge beta?

Harsh- 2 spcl coffee..

Waiter took the order n went.
Bt bt bt, Harsh ne bola tha wo aj first time is jagah pe jayega. Lekin ye waiter uncle to ise jaante h.. Wo bhi bht ache se..

Me- U lied..

Harsh-  hmm.
He passed a smile.

Me- Why?

Harsh- Me tumhe surprise dena chahta tha. U know me hamesha yahan akele hi aata hu. For the first time mene is jagah k bare me kisi k sath share kia. Rohit aur Akshit ko bhi nai maalum.

Me- Mere ko yeh jagah achi lagi.  So jhuut maaf kia

Harsh- Mene apologise kab kia..

Me- So what, ek hi baat hai.

Humne kareeb 2 ghante wahan beetaye. Sonam k bad sayad Harsh hi h jiski company mere ko achi lagi. Humne dher saari baate ki, uske bare me uski family k baare me. At the end, me chilled out thi.

Harsh ne mera mood bilkul theek kar dia tha.
Arpita k lie usne bola ki i should not worry. He said he will stand by me every time. N wese bhi Arpita is kind of characterless.

After spending some quality time, Harsh ne mereko ghar drop kia..

Me khush thi at the end of the day..
