Chapter-25 The bitch

Over the next week me and Rohit continued to work on our project. And this time Rohit was more serious than me. I have to admit he is pretty smart. We spent lots of time together, sometime at his place and sometimes mine.
Don't take me wrong. We just concentrated in our projects...

'Sorry honey, I had to go. Mom called me in urgent'

I got a text msg from Sonam who left me alone in college. How could she be so mean? I was sitting in my locker room chatting on whatsapp with Harsh. He was in his boring Union meeting.
I saw Arpita heading towards me.. Ugh I hate her...

"Didn't you understand what I said you before." Arpita said with a harsh tone.
"What do you mean?" I asked. I knew what she meant but..
"Don't try to pretend like an innocent girl, you bitch.." She gritted her teeth.
"Oohh hello.... Mind your tongue.." I snapped back and turned to leave.
"Stay away from Rohit, else you will regret." She shouted from back.
"Do whatever you want to" I rolled my eyes and walked..

I went to usual place, where I use to meet my friends. But today nobody was there. Aahh I am alone again...

After five whole minutes I saw Akshit coming towards me. Finally.

"Heyy.. Aj chudail dikh nahi rahi" Akshit asked.
"Nah, wo ghar chali gayi" I replied. No matter how much they try to pretend to hate each other, but they feel each others absence.
"Hmmmm.. But tum yahan akele.. Rohit nahi aaya?" He said with a teasing tone. I blushed.
"Nahi.. Busy hoga sayad." I rolled my eyes.
"Koi na.. I can accompany you." Akshit said with a smirk.
"Well. Good idea." I replied.
"So.. You like Rohit.." Akshit uttered.
"Excuse me.." I chuckled.
"Its a question Anu, do you..?" Akshit asked  sitting behind me.
"Tum pagal hai" I replied to avoid his question.
Suddenly my phone vibrated. It was a msg from Harsh. He wrote he was with Rohit and they are on their way to some work. So they can't join us.

I hate it being left alone. First Sonam left, then Rohit and Harsh. Plus I had to face that bitchy girl Arpita. But the best thing is, Akshit is with me. We chatted. He is cool. One thing I came to know from his conversation with me is that, he sort of like Sonam. But he will not accept until he himself realizes..

The bell rang signaling the end of  lunch break I went back to my class with Akshit, as it was our economics class... After 45 long minutes, the bell again rung signaling the end of class, and I felt relieved..

Me and Akshit walked towards the parking lot. I was surprised to see Rohit leaning against my car. He was busy, I guess..

"Hey bro." Rohit greeted Akshit.
"Hey dude.. Tu yahan?" Akshit greeted back.. I wasn't expecting him at all. I smiled back as he passed a smile to me..

"Haan, kuch kaam tha" Rohit replied.
"Kuch kaam tha ya..." Akshit smirked.  I blushed hard.
"Where is Sonam?" Rohit said just to irritate Akshit, and I chuckled.
"Shut up man..." Akshit smacked Rohit's shoulder.
"Harsh nahi aaya" I asked.
"Nah, wo mere ko drop kar ke chala gaya" Rohit replied
"Oohh"
"I gotta go..kal milte hai" Akshit left us alone after biding bye.

"So tumhe kaam hai na" I rolled my eyes.
"Haan" Rohit smirked.
"So, me ghar jaa rahi hu" I said
"Kyun"
"Tumhe kaam hai na.. So"
"Kaam hai, wo bhi tumse"
"Mere se kya kaam"
"Kya tum mujhe ghar drop kar sakti ho" Rohit pouted.
"So yahi kaam tha" I smiled.

We walked into my car. Today I am gonna drop Rohit. Sounds interesting. I was continues smiling since I saw Rohit. But something I saw, which made my smile drop.
It was none other then Arpita, again.. Rohit didn't notice her. But I could see her angry face from my mirror. I ignored and started to drive.

It was nice time with Rohit. I am getting addicted to him, I guess. He talked about his meeting and my classes, our projects etc... After 20 mins we reached his place.

"Sweetheart.. You drive well." Rohit said
"Well I know that" I smirked.
"Why don't you apply for a job?" Rohit said with a serious face.
"Job.. For what?" I questioned with same serious tone.
"A driver" he replied. I was like what the..
"What the fuck Rohit" I said turned my face towards the window.
"I was just kidding honey.. Don't be angry" Rohit said. I could see from the corner of my eyes, he was concerned.
"Its OK" I replied. And he hugged me. He hugged me? I was shocked. Actually I wasn't expecting that.
"Thank you so much" he whispered in my ears causing me blush harder..

Soon he bid me bye and left. I came back home with a big smile.. And as usual mom teased me for that.
