I WENT TO COLLEGE NEXT MORNING AND SOMEONE CAME FROM BEHIND AND PLAYFULLY HIT MY HEAD
*where do you think you're going* I heard I voice from behind
N : Manik!
M : arey wah ab toh meri awaaz bhi pehchanne lagi ho , good going miss murthy
N : jab tumne peeche se sar pe maara na that very moment I knew ke it was you
M : wow , genius
N : Manik....... chalo we are getting late performance hai na
*in the auditorium*
professor called each Jodi to come and perform one by one . me and manik were at the end so I was too nervous the whole time to concentrate on anyone else's performance , it was my first stage performance after all
me and manik went backstage and I was constantly repeating the lyrics in my head so I don't mess up and just then manik held my hand and said
M : hey , don't worry it's ok
N : manik I know its not something really major but the entire college is here and I have never performed in front of so many people
Manik looked into my eyes and said
M : u will be great , we will be great I know you can do this . its not about the people , don't perform for anyone , the only person you need to perform for is YOU

I was nervous as the results were gonna be announced any moment now
Professor : and the winner of THE DUET SHOWDOWN is , undoubtedly . NANDINI MURTHY AND MANIK MALHOTRA
I was really surprised but when I saw manik he was smiling as if he already knew that we were going to win
N : manik aren't you surprised
M : offcourse not , I knew we were going to win
N : how ?
M : because our performance was more than just singing nandini
before I could ask him anything else we were called on the stage......................
