A calm night it was , slow breeze moving the wind charms hanging on the window producing a soothing sound , she was sleeping next to him , but there was something wrong , manik was restless in his sleep as he suddenly opened his eyes he looked at her and made sure she was ok
MANIK P.O.V :
WHAT IS THIS FEELING , THIS IS JUST SO AWKWARD I HAVE FELT THIS WAY BEFORE , I KNOW THIS FEELING , IT'S JUST THE WAY I FELT ................................... IT'S JUST THE WAY I FELT BEFORE SHE ....... BEFORE SHE GOT SHOT ! THAT SAME INSECURITY , THE SAME FEAR , AS IF SHE IS GOING TO GO AWAY AS IF SHE IS LEAVING , I AM NOT GOING TO LET HER GO , I CANT LET THAT HAPPEN MAYBE I AM JUST OVER THINKING , WAIT MANIK JUST LOOK AT HER GOD! SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL , IT'S CRAZY HOW I CAN JUST LOOK AT HER AND GET MESMERIZED , NOT JUST BECAUSE OF HER LOOKS BUT BECAUSE OF THE FACT THAT EVERYTHING THAT I'VE EVER WANTED IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME ....... *he kissed her forehead caressing her cheek as she smiled in her sleep * I PROMISE I'LL ALWAYS PROTECT YOU. *he held her close making his grip tight on her as he nuzzled in the crook of her neck finding his solace as his heart finally stopped thumping because of all the weird thoughts but just her presence around him was enough to get him through it .

Manan were sleeping peacefully wrapped in each others embrace when a sudden knock on the door disturbed Nandini's peaceful slumber , she ignored at first as she was too tired and she just snuggled a bit more in his chest but then she heard a voice
Amms : nandu beta are you still sleeping ! *she shouted outside the door*
Nandini woke up with a jerk due to which manik fell off the bed
M : nandini what's wrong with you !
N : shh deheere bolo amms hain bahar *she said worriedly*
M : what ! Ab ?
N : tum ek kaam karo , Bed ke neeche chup jao , nahi bathroom main no wait! Cupboard main ughhh nahi

M : oye relax main I'll hide in the bathroom u go and open the door
N : jaldi gooo !!!!
M : ok !
N : idiot apni shirt toh le kar jao *she said as she threw his shirt on his face and he rushed inside the bathroom*
*she quickly rushed up to the door and opened it *
N : amms good morning*she said with a sheepish smile*
Am : u were in a really deep slumber I guess , warna as far as I remember you have never been a heavy sleeper
