My hope begins to rise that Jason may be able to save me after all. But the pain is still vibrant and I feel like throwing up any minute. I know that if I did, I would just kill myself. Throwing up will only result in me drowning in my own puke and suffocation. If I didn't have duct tape over my mouth, I would find a chance to puke all over John. He carries my finger and holds it up to my face.
"Look at your pretty little finger......"
I start crying again while he trails my own finger on my face. The wetness of my blood now seeps to my back. I didn't dare move my hand. Knowing that panicking would only make my blood flow faster, I try my hardest to calm down. He rips the duct tape off my mouth. Anger rises in me, he disgusts me deep to the core. Seeing my chance, I decide to spit at him.
"Why you...."
WHACK!
Before John could finish his sentence, he drops to the floor. Jason stands there holding a shovel with an angry expression on his face. He breathes heavily and gives John one hard kick to his jaw making me cringe. Jason then looks up at me with concern setting the shovel aside. I manage to smile but stopped when I moved my hand by accident. I bite my lip roughly from screaming. Taking slow breaths, I force myself to calm down.
"Beth, don't move."
I obey and watch as he unwraps the rope, freeing me. He searches for a cloth which he expertly wraps my hand with it. Jason gently picks m up letting me wrap my arms around his neck. The familiar pleasant smell of his cologne wafts through my nose making me feel safe.
"Jason......how......?"
"Sssshhhh Beth, it's okay I'm here baby...."
My heart melts form him calling me baby. I sigh feeling fatigue wash over me. The pain is the only thing keeping me awake. By the cloth is thoroughly soaked with my blood. Jason carries me all the way out until we reached his car. He set me down gently in the passenger seat.
"Jason....aren't you worried about my blood getting all over your car?"
"It's okay baby, I couldn't care less....relax. I'll be right back."
Confusion and fear drowns me. I stare at him with wide eyes. Where is he going? He's just going to me here?
"You're leaving me?"
"No, I'll be right back okay?"
I decided not to argue since I felt too tired. The other reason is I am in too much pain to even question or put in the effort to do it. I drift to sleep, fatigue getting the best of me.

Jason's P.O.V
I had to leave Beth in my car, she can't witness what I'm about to do. She'll never look at me the same way again. I don't want to lose her. But I feel like I'm helping her.
I head back into the house, the lights are off. Using my hand, I run it over the surface of the wall to find a switch. I feel wetness on my fingertips when I find the switch. Bloody fingerprints were all over the walls. Taking a deep breath, I search for John.
He is gone. Blood drains completely form my face. Bethany! John! I run back out to my care only to find the door completely busted. Bethany is nowhere to be seen.
"Beth!"
"JASON!" she screams.
Her screams came from the house up in the attic. I hastily run back to the house and up the stairs.
"HELP!" Beth continues to scream.
I'm almost at the attic door when it slams shut at my face. I grab the door knob and pushed against it. It wouldn't budge. I use all my will and power to kick down the door. It crashes with a big bang followed with an eerie silence.
Beth stands there covered in blood over John's body. Blood pools from his eyes and his head. Scratches are visible on his arms. One word was cut onto his left arm: KILLER.
"What happened?" I ask.
"He's d.....d....de....dead....., I killed him."
