I woke with a start to find Maggie looking at me with wide eyes. She abruptly stood up and motioned for me to follow. I got off the chair, only to get a head rush and sit back down. Maggie grabbed my arm and pulled me towards a metal door.

"You have to go. Go home and tell your family the serum made you nauseous, okay?" She asked, pushing me out the door.

"What's happening?" I asked, blocking the closing door. "What was my result?"

Maggie stopped moving. She looked at me long and cold. "Abnegation." She said calmly. I sighed. "And Dauntless."

"Wait, what? That's impossible!" I said, moving back in the rooom. "How can I be more than one faction?"

"Because the test didn't work on you. You're what they call a divergent. You can't tell anyone. Not your friends, not your family. You can't trust anyone. I will manually enter that you got Abnegation. Now get out before they find you!" Maggie said, once again pushing me out the door.

          "Who's they?" I asked.

"The Erudite."  Maggie shut the door in my face. I tried the handle but she has locked it. What did she mean? The test didn't work on me? I had the sudden realization what Marcus meant. I failed the test. The test didn't work on me.
